Utterly Mad

So I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I really want to throw this out there.

The Highway started as a little RP based off of two of my favorite games at the time, Organ Trail and Cataclysm:Dark Days Ahead. It slowly morphed into its own beast when Duncan (Lorknis) and plenty of other people said I should branch out a bit more and make it, its own thing. So I did and out of that two cannons were formed, the whole AJ cannon that ended up being rebuilt several times and the Dust cannon that focused more on the desert and Duncan's characters. And while Dust was great, it died before it could really get underway.

Alright let me cut to the chase, I find it weird that The Highway hasn't gotten a megathread type deal like the space opera thing we were trying to make. I'm not trying to sound like I achieved something because that'd be wrong, The Highway wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for you guys. I mean we have so many people writing stories about it, running their own games, writing lore and entire cannons, and Duncan is working on a tabletop version.

So why not put up a megathread for people to do whatever they want with The Highway, I mean D&D, Warhammer, and Pathfinder have like what? 40 different cannons, lore basis', and not to mention Thief World which is basically one giant slice of world building shared between several authors.

And I might be overselling it and it could be three or four people just doing this, but clearly there is some love there for people to craft their own lore and games out of it. So why not share it, I'll always have my cannon and my stories that I'll spawn, but why can't we have a Dust or a Cthulhu \versions of it.


Anyway other then that, after my turn ends I'll update The Highway (I say that so much it should be a fucking meme).
