....You know what fuck it, let's see if I can actually get any kind of interest in this, or at least some kind of response. EDIT and just realized I could have just edited the first post... I am not the brightest person some days.
The Empire of Caesar, founded in 2,000,525 A.D., spans what was once thought to be the entirety of the human existence. This thought was proven wrong when the Empire discovered other civilizations in what it thought to be uninhabitable space. After a number of brief wars conducted by the Grand Army of the Empire in defense of the Empire treaties were established and borders drawn.
In 2,800,823 A.D. the Iscariot Atrocity occurred and the birth of the Imperial Legion. It was not until fifty years later did the Imperial Legion first see action. The Iscariots attacked the military facility and the Legion reinforced the position of the Grand Army. To hear the soldiers tell the story the Legionnaires( who were not yet the Imperial Legion) waded into battle with screams of murder as they mowed down the Iscariots.
It was not until another fifty years had passed that they became the Imperial Legion. A separate military element from the Grand Army that in time would take care of defending the Empire from outside threats and dealing with the Iscariots. The Legionnaires adopted enhancements that increased their physical and mental capabilities and increased their lifespans by a near immeasurable amount.
However the Legion technicians were the ones who developed the majority of these enhancements and have denied access to the schematics to anyone outside of the Legion. The armor that the Legion developed and their weapons were considered formidable, even more so with the users capabilities in combat.
The current year is 3,700,231 A.D. and the Legion is waging a campaign against the Iscariots. The Iscariots have taken over several planets and the Legion has been charged with taking back these planets with support from the Grand Army 301st Mortals.

The Assault Legionnaire helps lead the attack and will draw enemy fire so that the Support Legionnaires may attack from a position of superiority.
The Demolitions Legionnaire destroys any structure standing in the way of the Legion and will rain hell fire down onto those who oppose the Legion.
The Support Legionnaire suppresses the enemy with heavy weaponry and carries supply crates for his fellow Legionnaires.
The Incendiary Legionnaire utilizes his weaponry to devastate enemy positions and wage psychological warfare on the enemy.
The Gladius Legionnaire bears his sword and shield and aids in forming the front line or dives forward with haste to draw the blood of their foes.
The Deep Strike Legionnaire is deployed behind the enemies’ front line and causes havoc in their rear echelons, enabling his fellows to move forward with greater speed by eliminating resistance in the enemies’ rear defense positions.
The Tank Legionnaire mans the Legions armor and utilizes his craft’s capabilities to aid his fellows, either by delivering crippling damage to the enemy or providing rapid transport for the infantry.
The Ranger Legionnaire utilizes either long range weaponry to deprive the enemy of leadership and heavy weapons crews or carry devastating short to mid-range weaponry to combat the enemy.
The Medical Legionnaire cares for his wounded comrades, mending their wounds and carrying crates of medical supplies to carry out their work.
The Immortal Legionnaire is a mixture of what was a Legionnaire and a metal construct controlled by the Legionnaire’s thoughts. An Immortal Legionnaire wades into combat raining death upon the enemy with weaponry attached to their mechanized body that allows them to continue in their previous role.
The Technician Legionnaire maintains the weaponry, equipment, vehicles, and Immortal Legionnaires of the Imperial Legion. They rarely see combat but are considered as equals to those who wade into battle.
Roles and what they do
Assault Legionnaire
Using assault rifles, grenades, and carrying side arms the Assault Legionnaire usually form the front runners of any attack by the Legion beside the Gladius Legionnaires. Their primary purpose is to attack enemies at mid to close range. You deal with mid range combat and carry first aid supplies to patch up minor wounds.
Demolitions Legionnaire
They carry rocket launchers, demolitions charges, grenades, and a side arm to deal with any personnel too close to blow up. Their usually mixed in with Assault and Support squads due to their lack of equipment to deal with non armored targets. You primarily deal with AoE damage and destroying cover. Your weapons also are the only truly effective weapons against armored vehicles.
Support Legionnaire
Wielding a machine gun(typically the three barrelled Vortex) and carrying crates filled with supplies for other Legionnaires. They provide covering and suppressing fire. They have incredible fire power but their weapons take additional time to reload. You suppress and do high amounts of damage with your weapons but they require set up and reloading takes both movement actions.
Incendiary Legionnaire
Carrying a flamethrower, incendiary grenades, and a side arm the Incendiary Legionnaire is concerned with dealing with close range targets and phsycological warfare. Usually mixed in with Assault or Gladius squads. You deal with close range AoE damage that is primarily effective against infantry. Incendiary weapons can also cause enemies to panic.
Gladius Legionnaire
Armed with a sword, shield, and side arm the Gladius charges into the enemy with near wild abandon and cleave their enemies into pieces. Out side of combat you're a moving piece of cover thanks to the shields and once in range you do devastating amounts of damage.
Deep Strike Legionnaire
The Deep Strike Legionnaires come from the other disciplines and are concerned with getting deep into enemy territory, usually through a drop pod, and dealing heavy damage.
Tank Legionnaire
You pilot the Legions vehicles. What you do is determined by the vehicle since some vehicles do differing jobs.
Ranger Legionnaire
Concerned with either long range combat using sniper rifles or close quarters blood baths using shotguns and heavy weaponry. You either snipe enemies from afar or get in close with shotguns and other powerful weapons.
Medical Legionnaire
You patch people up and use a more powerful version of the standard side arm. Able to revive unconscious allies and patch up the wounded.
Immortal Legionnaire (this is available if you die or get severely injured in the field. This the only way in the lore too.)
The remenants of the Legionnaires body are encased in a metal body that carries exceedingly powerful weapons from their discipline.
Technician
You fix the Legions vehicles, armor, and weapons. These guys almost never see combat and thus only carry side arms.
Death and injury mechanics
Cover
Armor
Movement
Initiative
Initiative is rolled at the start of round. The person with the highest number goes first. If two people have the same number they re roll to determine who goes before the other.
Combat
Combat as with everything else is taken in turns. Who moves first is determined by initiative which has already been discussed so I won’t go over it again here. What a turn in combat consist of is movement actions, attack actions, and the results of such.
Attack actions are just that, attacks. They usually consist of a unit a firing his designated weapon at the specified enemy unit. A d20 is rolled to determine if the attack hits and then damage is rolled according to the weapon and armor and penalties are factored in.
There are also limited use items such as grenades or rocket launchers. Limited use items can be used a certain number of times during combat and have varying effects. A grenade will do area damage where as a med kit will heal the target.
Okay, a more fleshed out CS and you guys get to see the mechanics under the hood. If this attempt doesn't work then Oh well, I've got other projects.
