Utterly Mad

The creatures of this world have always been restless. Many of the beings in this world have taken to banditry or adventuring since the War of Angels. However things are happening in dark corners of the world. But for now our tale resides with a band of Adventurers who do not yet know their fate. Contracted by the Guild of Adventurers of Drakenstorm to delve into the sunken Cathedral of The Glorious Prince, which has not been seen or entered by civilized beings for five hundred years.
The Cathedral was built to worship The Glorious Prince Xsavier F. Masterson the twentieth, the last of his line. He was blessed by Gorsfel, the God of Vengeance and Redemption. Gorsfel blessed the Prince with a great strength and longevity and tasked him with bringing the Human Empire into line. After succeeding Gorsfel made the Prince into his Avatar in the world, commanding him to rule the Human Empire for two hundred years. The Cathedral was built after the Prince died halfway through this order in memory of the first and so far only Avatar of their god, killed by an Acolyte of Mortalis the god of Death.

I'm going to start us off with a basic adventure so we can get a feel for the characters you guys will be playing. Oh and I'm going to put a poll up real quick for a really important question that I want to leave up to you guys. Poll is up and it's about Alignment. Basically do you guys want Alignment to be important or be a more background thing? And by background thing I mean Alignment won't have major affects(well except for paladins because alignment is REALLY important to them.)

Okay, so I've been planning this for a while and I think I understand the rules and such well enough to run this. We'll be playing with the 5e rules and we might house rule some stuff as we go. I'm actually kind of excited to run my first actual campaign.

Also, by request here's a kobold race. I think it's okay but I don't know, never created a race before so if something is wrong tell me.

Kobold (playable race)
Age
Kobolds mature quickly, achieving adult hood around the age of six. They can potentially live for centuries but they rarely make it past the first decade of their life span.
Languages
Common and Draconic
Sunlight Sensitivity
Kobolds have disadvantage to perception checks in sunlight
Pack Tactics
Kobolds gain advantage to attack roles when an ally is within 5ft
Frail
Kobolds are not the strongest of folk and suffer a minus 2 to their strength score and minus 3 to their constitution.
Tunnelers
Kobolds often live in caves, constructing tunnels throughout their lairs. Kobolds can construct tunnels easier and have a plus 3 to finding their way through tunnels.
Trappers
Kobolds often construct traps throughout their lairs. Kobolds get a plus 2 to constructing and disarming traps.
Monstrous
Kobolds are considered monstrous creatures in Civilized society and are looked down upon. They suffer a minus 3 to any charisma based score when the roll is made towards a ‘civilized’ creature, though this does not apply to other Kobolds or other friendly ‘Monstrous’ creatures.
Tunnel Creatures
Kobolds have 60ft of night vision. This was adapted due to their lives often being spent inside dark tunnels.

And for CS just translate the CS from 5e to where you can post it here, or if you want make a sheet and take an image of it somehow. Honestly do what you prefer so long as I have easy access to it.
