The Pit

You all take a seat at one of the empty tables near the counter as its the most empty part of the bar, Mr. Margret and son go around shooing people out of the bar as it was nearing midnight. They then started straightening up the place, picking up spilled drinks, scrubbing floors, sweeping, the works. "Well the information has to do with one of those "Sinks" that those archeologists are so fascinated about...", she pauses for a moment to expect a reaction but is only met with confused looks continues. "When those nukes went off back in 2013, they left these large pits as wide and as large as a sinkhole, heard they swallowed up whole cities when the initial blasts went off. But what's so "fascinating" and "important" about them is what's on the outside. Out from under the table she reveals a thin folder marked classified in bold red stencil lettering. She folds it open revealing pictures of science teams in Soviet hazmat gear crowded around what appears to be the edge of a cliff that has these large neon-blue crystals jutting out of the ground, about three stories tall; the next few pictures are the Soviets mining the crystals and holding up a large chunk to the camera with thumbs all up.

"Back when I worked as a mercenary to protect those eggheads I saw what was contained within and around the sink holes, as well as ways to enter one without having the life sucked out of your lungs or some other horrible thing happening. These crystals that they harvested were used in some... pretty scary sh*t, while I don't really wish a group like the Deliverance Company to have such power. A deal's a deal, and I can only hope that you aren't signing your own death warrants if they force you to head out on the mission." She scoots out of her chair and heads into her office, she takes one look back at the group as if to say some more words of warning; but shakes her head and slams the door shut. You can hear the gentle sound of her locking the door.
