Seb's ears perk up as he detects heated words, their tone distinct against the backdrop of lightly inebriated conversation, casual roughhousing, and old rock music.  The argument grows louder to his sharp hearing as he approaches the armory tent, and still a good forty feet away before he could discern individual words.

"...-imes do I need to tell YOU, I DON'T ****ING USE RUSSKIE WEAPONRY! I'd rather die than touch the **** my father was shot with!"

Up ahead, he sees the tent flap launch outwards and a frustrated Zaweri storming across the yard to the RV.  Seb sighs through clenched teeth.  Stubborn old fogies.  Running his claws through the thick ruff of slate-grey fur along the back of his neck, he mentally steels himself for conversation with the armory's QM, knowing who it likely is already.

Entering the tent, his nose was immediately invaded by the odor of lubricating oils, faintly burning gunpowder, and a tang of fading aggression.  Oh, good.  He decided not to press the matter, keeping it strictly business was on his mind as he places the requisition form on the table, crossing his paws behind his back, ears flattening backwards slightly as he glances surreptitiously over the aged soldier's frame and the mess of hardware scattered all over the tent.

"Sarge handed me this form.  Like you to fill the order, sir."  he says in his growling tone, trying to suppress any inflections.

[[Its all good, I finally found some games to get back into, Crusader Kings 2 is wrapping its tendrils around me and absorbing me into its weird incestual and intrigue filled world. Also I've taken to finally beating Hard Mode in Hotline Miami 2, its the only achievement left I need.]]

Jove strolled up to the settlement with his unusual glowing confidence. Though that wasn't to say he wasn't being careful. He had heard plenty of stories about settlements, harmless in looks, but rotten to the core of the people running them.

Orders and the New Morning

The Russian Weaponsmith glares at Zaweri, about ready to break "repair" his gun the Russian way when Seb and his cousin Ivan come into the tent.

He picks up the form, looks it over, grunts approval, and then heads over to some crates and starts fishing out holsters, ammo, magazines, and most importantly... guns! "DUDE BE CAREFULL WHAT YOU ARE ****ING DOING OR YOU'LL MEET A ****ING PILE OF ****ING BULLETS IN YOUR ****ING FACE!And can you give me an RPG or an Ak47?", Ivan shouts at whom I'm assuming is Zaweri; his uncle (the armory clerk or whatever) chuckles, "Oh you always were the eager one Ivan, buteh... no, I can't give you anything that extreme as of right now. Besides you're clearing out a few who don't even have armored vehicles, you'll be fine." He grunts and the sounds of nearly thirty weapons clatter together as he pulls a load of guns out from the bottom of the metal crate. Setting them on the table he slides them all apart like they were cards. A vast selection of AKs, Sniper Rifles, M4s, and two large caliber pistols all lay side by side, with the pungent odor of gun cleaning oil coming off every single one.

Picking up a pistol he twirls it around in his hand so the grip is facing away from him, he extends it towards Ivan. "But you can have this cousin, its called "The Bear". A Russian made version of the Desert-Eagle, have a look." Upon closer inspection you see that it isn't magazine-based, but instead uses a cylinder system like a revolver, on the grip is a Soviet Star and the whole gun is encased in red and silver chrome. You also note how heavy it feels in your hand, like you're carrying a metal bar or something.

He then looks to the rest of the group and hands another "Bear" to Seb and tells the group the following: "Since I can't give you RPGs or anything explosive as that's being reserved for tomorrows raid, among other things, I'll give you these. As you know 50. Calibers are no joke, they were originally designed to get rid of American carbombs back when we first invaded; so instead of taking out carbombs, you could take out the engines if you shot it enough, either causing the car to die or to have it explode in glorious flame!" He raises his arms at the last notion, sounding generally excited about all that is going on.

He shuts-up for a moment and lets you peruse the rest of the weapons on the table. You have three AN-94s, an RPK, Mosin Nagant, three M4A6s, and enough AK-47s for the whole group. You pick up a gun and he'll tell you about it, when you got all you need just say your goodbyes and we'll fast-forward to tomorrow.

The Great White Border [Jove Update]

Snow begins to fall the closer you get to the dimly lit settlement, the closer you get the clearer the village becomes. You can see a series of small trailer homes all arranged into a cul-de-sac, main street is covered in snow with a saloon like building aglow with red neon lights with the sounds of laughter pouring from it, next to the entrance is a clinic with a wooden sign saying that the doctor is in, and most of the rest of the town looks like something out of a Christmas post card. All the lights hazily cut through the fog of snowfall, you can hear trees falling somewhere far in the west, and you barely see anyone in the town.

Amy decides to stop messing around and standing there totally not because I forgot I didn't just say she was in the RV and goes back to sit in the RV.   Nothing better to do anyway.

(So I almost forgot I was in this.)

Irving opens up the tent's flap, "Oh, Hey." he says. He looks at the guns, he picks up the M4A6. "Whats this one?"

Des has advanced from balancing the sword on his hand and is now attempting to balance the sword on his nose. He's getting quite good at it, too. Sometimes he can keep the thing up for maybe twenty or thirty seconds before it falls to the ground, nearly stabbing his own feet or those of passersby. So far nobody's gotten hurt, so he continues. Maybe he'll join up with a roaming circus or something after this is all said and done.

Zaweri continues tinkering with his XM8 LMG in the RV, as he does not like any of the guns available.

Ivan's sudden appearance followed by his invasive odor startles Seb, his hackles raising slightly, but he dare not say anything untoward or make any aggressive sounds.  There was no way he was going anywhere with that man again until he'd had a very long wash.  Going on ops with a larger group than he was used to was stressful enough.  Didn't need people smelling ****ing rancid at the same time, attracting all kinds of attention.

He hefts the massive revolver up with one paw as it was offered, the grip comfortably filling his grasp.  He opens the cylinder and stares down the empty chambers, gently spinning the cylinder around as he does so.  Pushing it closed, he lifts it up testing the weight and sighting down the barrel, noting the accessory rail on top.

"Good sights...heavy and balanced slightly towards the front of the barrel." he mutters.  Pulling the hammer back, he dryfires, the trigger pull smooth and crisp with a surprisingly short reset.  The kind of trigger you'd find on a match-grade firearm for competition purposes.  A real masterwork.  A subtle grin spreads across his muzzle as he turns the pistol over once more in his paws, and he can't help but notice how well the weapon fits him.  Being a big wolf-man, it was difficult finding handguns that fit his paws well, but this was just about perfect.  It made him a little nervous thinking about using this thing one-handed like he did with his Anaconda on occasion to great effect, but it might be doable considering it's weight.

Slipping the Bear back into it's holster on the table, he glances over the spread of rifles.  "Wouldn't happen to have a can for any of these, would you?"  He gestures across the lined-up muzzles of each rifle to emphasize his point.

Chilly this far up. Jove had been walking for a while, and he desired to eat something regardless of origins or where it came from, but he wasn't feeling like getting into trouble in another "saloon". For now, it was better to find out where he was, perhaps hitch a map off of someone and get clearer directions north. Well, that would imply he knew where the hell he was supposed to be going. He trudged through the snow. The all-too organic feet were feeling numb, but his hands didn't get cold at the very least. Actually, they were rather cold. He just couldn't feel that.

*BANGBANG*

The mechanical wonders knocked on the door to the clinic, much harder than Jove wanted but he couldn't control everything now could he?
