I'd fucking drop kick an old lady, no questions asked.

If it's not interrogation porn then it's poorly named and a missed opportunity.
Well, if you think about it, rape is for fun.

Woo I found out a way to bypass my internet provider's redirect page. It does that because we need to pay the internet bill and I have to wait 'till Wednesday as that is my Dad's payday.

But I found a way to bypass it by going onto Firefox and using my ZenMate Proxy thingamajig.
yey

It's really slow though, but it's better then being unable to go onto the internet at all. :)
(Side Note: for once in quite a while my shift key has decided to work again too! Woot!)

Its a goddamn shame I never read his books, I really should start the Discworld series. I played the PS1 game of it and loved the crap out of it ((even though I barely got out of the starting areas, due to how stupidly complex and tedious the puzzles are)); and Death in that game was real hilarious, and most likely what started my love for 'Dem' Bones'.

God, you never notice how badly you'll miss something until its gone. Sure you can ask the question, "What will it be like once they're gone?" But it hardly ever crosses your mind, because the works that the produce or create make them seem immortal, like they can go on forever until they call it quits. Then life brings us back to reality once they're taken away.

Something to lighten this post up: I originally didn't know that Discworld was based off a popular book series, I thought it was just a quirky adventure game that took place on a Disc (like a PS1 CD or PC CD). I didn't know that they actually lived on a Discworld that wasn't a meta reference to game discs.

They are great books, I would read Hogfather, Nightwatch, Going Postal, and Monstrous Regiment first.

There was a fire near our house today. Thankfully there was no wind and it stayed in one property. It was frightening seeing the dark plumes of smoke in the distance though. Here is a post of the fire lazily copy pasted and edited from our fire department's facebook page.

Scary fire today in Sandy Valley! A mobile home, several trailers and vehicles on fire, ammunition going off, 5 gallon propane tanks exploding and a 200 gallon tank venting off (you know it bad when the first in unit is reporting the ammunition going off and you can hear what sounds like automatic gun fire in the background!) The fire spread into the surrounding trees and brush. A total of 56 personnel responded to the fire. Water supply became a problem and firefighting operations had to be suspended at times. Crews were on scene for about 6 hours. Then when it was time to leave several vehicles got stuck in the soft sand and had to be pulled put by a large loader. A great job was done by everyone and there were no injuries.

Pretty scary.

Anyways speaking of Facebook, did you know John Romero has a Facebook? Not only that but he has hit the maximum number of friends on it, so I follow him on it.

Going Postal is absolutely brilliant, Thud is also pretty good and not a bad place to start to get into the Sam Vimes storyline.

Discworld doesn't exactly have a 'main character' to the storyline, because it doesn't have a main storyline, it's almost like a documentary about the Discworld itself and it just touches upon various peoples lives as a way of telling you about the Discworld. Theres even a series of Discworld books, The Science of Discworld, where they discover Earth in an alternate dimension. It sort of explains how Discworld works in comparison to our universe and tries to make what comparisons can be made between them.

Also I'm 90% sure they made a Discworld video game because Prattchet found the idea of Discworld literally being on a disc.

By Discworld game, do you mean the point and click adventure game?
God, that one puzzle with the squid and the fishmonger.....
Also, Going Postal is easily my favorite.

I saw lightning in the distance so it could rain, or it could be one of those dry thunderstorms which is a scary thought considering all the dry brush and how fast fire can spread in this desert. We'd be screwed if there was a major fire here.

Though it would be great for rain, might bring down this 110 degrees Fahrenheit weather a little... but oh god humidity will suck too.  :(

It's cool outside, for a long while all around me there was lightning and thunder but no rain, but I could smell a hint of rain on the wind. I was standing out there just looking at the lightning then it started to sprinkle, so I went back to the porch. Just seconds after I get to the porch is picks up FAST it suddenly starts coming down HARD. So I just relaxed on the porch and watched lightning until it started to calm down. Now to just enjoy the relaxing smell of petrichor.

I also found out I am the only active admin on Cata DDA's Facebook page. So I bypassed my IP ban on the forum so I could get the full change log for 0.C to post, normally the other admin does it but I don't think he is active on DDA anymore, so I had to post the update. Just today it has reached about 202 people apparently.
There is also still a ton of salt from the fans on Facebook about THE MODDENING there is about 2 or 3 people on there banned from the forum and hell the guy that made the FNAF mod for DDA apparently was scolded for saying lame... man that forum was real bad at that one moment wasn't it.
