Utterly Mad

I must get this down before its gone from my waking mind.

I dreamed of a woman in a bed. The room was familiar to me as it was my old house from before my parents were divorced. She has a grey look to her and her hair is black. In her right hand she is holding an absurdly long kitchen knife, pointed towards her heart. there is a nurse by her bedside holding her wrist. she also has a dark grey look to her. The look on both of their faces is indifference. I can see a nurse walking up to the house through the window, which is on the second floor, who appears to be the same as the nurse at the womans bedside. when I look back to the bed though, the nurse is gone and is replaced by a bald man with glasses and a broad grin on his face. this being still has the grey look and if anything he has gotten darker. Both of them remain motionless, but I can feel some kind of struggle going on between them which suddenly ends when (I assume) the real nurse enters the house. The man vanishes in a puff of smoke and the woman is left holding the knife. She wavers for a moment and then sets the knife aside.
