The Semi Serious Discussion Thread

Yeah...*looks at LMP*...we need this I think.
Anywho just a place for people to post and talk about things in a semi serious manner. Joking is fine but let's not take it to the level of LMP right now, and don't purposefully try and be an ass, we all make mistakes but doing it on purpose is just...well being an asshole. For purposes of having multiple conversations at once quote the post you are responding to please, though you can edit out any prior quotes so as not to cause too much clutter.

Since it's more serious then LMP but not serious to the point of the I need a drink thread.

Computer not only had to repair my C Drive but my windows profile got corrupted, so what wasn't destroyed in the drive repair is now gone. At least I've got it where I can actually keep data again, but I lost some paper work for something I need to get done so I'm rather pissed that it happened.
Tip for any other windows users out there, if you keep getting a pop up telling you your logged into a temp profile everytime you boot the computer then your profile is corrupt and you need a new one. Joy of joys to find that out, but at least I know how to fix it if it ever happens again.

Hmm. AC was out the other day, for a few hours. I hate the heat, and yet somehow I was griping less than the relative that's usually always cold. Have I mentioned Texas summers can eat a bag of dicks?

Also, I might have a Discord now. Only really because a friend insisted on moving from Skype to it. Of the few Skype friends that have discussed pondering the idea, he's the only one I care about enough to make me try it.

Funny how the same reasoning was the only reason that a different friend was able to get me to be on Skype in the first place. THAT was back when YIM and MSN were compatible, so most of my friends I chatted with were either on YIM or Steam.

Seriously, we had some fucking big holes in my yard from the heat a couple of years ago. Think I stuck my leg up to the knee in one of them one time.


And on the whole, discord skype thing, the only reason I got on skype (RIP my skype account) is because a bunch of the RP people had a skype group way back. the size of it fucked over my skype program for some reason though.

Yeesh. I recall foundation problems at the last place I lived in due to the ground drying up, but that was largely because the landlord there was a moron and thought that paying for it in the long run would be better than just watering the yards every so often.

I'm still gonna use Skype though. I kinda no longer use YIM anymore since I switched emails, so I can go back to juggling three different methods of IM.

I know, I was in the group. There's like fifty plus people I don't know and there was a massive back log. the only reason I left was accidentaly telling my discord desktop app to leave when the lewd section kept popping up in the corner of my screen...which is in my living room, so I don't want to explain that stuff.

Check the heat sink on the processor, last time my PC was overheating that was at fault.

Or buy all the Noctua Industrial fans you can fit into your computer, that'll keep things cool. 3000RPM fans aren't a joke, or quiet.
