Now many of you, if not all of you, will know what this picture is of, but you'll have no context. What you are looking at, is 1/3rd of the contents of salems "hall of tears" and a collection of diseased corpses wrapped around a statue of His Majesty the King. The purpose of undoing hours of MY effort? To spite me, and to make the other people playing the game miserable and diseased. Many noobs were killed by disease. I managed to save a couple from the plague, but I lost 4-5 hours hauling each and every single fucking one back to the hall of tears where they belong while the jackass responsible fucked about trying to prevent me from fixing the damage he caused.

In all likelihood, I'll get up tomorrow and find that he has done it again.

If I recall didn't the makers of the game thank you for doing that? Perhaps mention this if you have any form of contact or if they have a suggestion board make a suggestion to make some kind of grave that can't be unearthed? IDK but that dudes an asshole.

Been playing DwarfFort adventure mode.
Travel into a cave find a goblin in it, I try to be diplomatic while my companion murders him before he can even respond.

Same companion later on in the cave(all the way in the cavern layer) caught me dining on another goblins blood and became hostile to me, I tried to talk her down repeatedly as I didn't want to kill her we had been traveling together for a while and had many adventures of killing shit, still she would attack me.

So instead of killing her I break both her legs and an arm and tell her the tale of how I fought a vampire who was one of the first elves and drank their blood cursing me to be a bloodsucker and then left her for dead and found my way out.

I have discovered a cool and yet interesting... bug? in cataclysm. Perhaps it existed before and perhaps it's been fixed by now. I call it the "counter cascade." Say you have a single zombie fighting you. You have at least 2 unarmed combat, have the brawling style set, and the zombie attacks you. You get the message "You catch the zombies attack and hit back!" and the zombie takes a hit. The counter takes a step though, if the zombie is quick enough you might get a second counter or nothing and then you may take your step and attack or run.

The cascade comes into play when more than one zombie comes into play, at that point it can become lethal for you. A zombie attacks, you counter, another zombie nearby takes the one step opportunity and attacks, you manage to counter that one by chance as well. The more zombies their are, the more likely a cascade is to occur as zombies pile on and the chances of countering rise with the number of zombies. It gets to the point where you have no control as each zombie takes a swing and a counter attack procs or not for each zombie. Each counter takes a step, opening you to more attacks and more counters. This continues without your input until all the zombies are dead, you are dead, or you fail a counter check against all the zombies within attacking range from you.

Out of interest, I scummed my save and turned on debug invincibility. I then ported to the center of a massive horde and began fighting. The cascade I triggered killed the entire horde with the exception of 6 zombies. The cascade also caused a time jump which made it look like a huge group of zombies suddenly vanished and was replaced by a 3X3 square of red %. My character gained 3 levels in unarmed and broke his weapon long before the cascade ended. It's taken so long to pulp all the corpses, some of them have gotten back up.

Final note, if you have high encumbrance, debug invincibility, and the thing you are counter cascading is a zombie child or some such, you will crash the game as a counter cascade is totally possible at high unarmed levels against a single opponent.

SIDE NOTE: Lol, I found a maxed out cash card among the dead. I'm gonna burn all this shit and use debug to lower my skills though. It feels fine to save scum this, but keeping all this crap generated by my testing doesn't feel quiet right.

If you can do it, then go right ahead. I hadn't quiet counted on these sort of issues when we started. It's something to consider an learn from.

I'm considering upgrading my internet speed, and I was wondering who'd be up for a Minecraft Server? I'm probably gonna build a cheap little computer to host it on since the hardware requirements are quite low, but it probably wouldn't be a 24/7 server, could likely comfortably have 100+ people on the server though.
I'm not entirely sure when I'll get around to doing it but if there's interest I'll give it a go.

I would be up for that.
