So I assume the Eldar would be cyberpunk, and the orks would be diesel punk? o3o

EDIT: Or maybe the orks would just Mad Max-ify themselves harder.

The Orkz would still be Orkz, because we all know Xeno filth never changes.

So, I have been playing Life is Feudal to a frankly obsessive degree lately, and the most amazing thing happened today. I built an arena for sparring practice to train my construction skills, just a little thing in part of our newly formed township, New Calontir. New Calontir has many allies from trade and mutual agreements. So, while I was working on building our pallisade walls, one of our Allies, Kasher Flamedragon, leader of the nearby Dragons Fire settlement and our ally from the beginning(as we had no iron nearby and he lived atop an iron mine, but couldn't hunt easily due to being on a mountain), comes sprinting in, reporting that a man had just knocked him out, stolen his horse, and stolen his armor. Two people had done this actually. Snow, and Gustav. I had traded with them in the past, they were the leading figures in the fish mongers guild. I got straight to work showing why you dont FUCK with Calontir's allies. First, I sicced the most elite knights in the known world on them, the Shire Knights. Who ran them down and slaughtered them as they sparred. I then challenged them to a duel, fought between me and Gustav, as leaders of our towns. He agreed. We would be on equal footing, with the same armor and weapons. A large crowd gathered in New Calontir to see the fight, most of the server. They arrived on horseback, atop black mounds of muscle and anger. Warhorses. The terms of the duel were simple. It was to the death, equal weapons and armor, winner took two horses from the losing side. We fought for a long time, me taking a huge amount of damage in the first half of the fight. While bleeding out from multiple axe cuts, I cornered him and cut him down, axe xleaving through chain mail armor. Gustav dead, Snow slowly walked up to me in utter disbelief, and handed me the reins to both horses. That I promptly gave to those he had stolen from in the first place. Teas AWESOME.
Thanks Peri for making me question muh sexualities once again.
Utterly Mad, where various people self identify as kitchenware.

Perigrin! Ze pup is aliiive!

And also, recently went emulator-hunting and beat another old unfinished game from my childhood, Super Mario 64. Spinning a "control stick" via keyboard is the worst part of N64 emulation, period. -_-

I've been playing Verdun among other things and I've got to say I actually quite like it. It's hard to see enemies at a decent distance against the terrain but it's great fun. I just finished a match as a German Machine gunner and got a lot of really lucky shots on guys I didn't even see, I was just trying to keep their heads down while my team moved up.

Meanwhile in Dwarf Fortress...a certain gardevior on the DF forums has enlightened me to the exploit of initiating a strike as a multiattack, to combo it with a dodge and thus cheese hydae.

I'd rather circumcise myself in a public place.
Eh, I don't really find anyone's sig too unreasonable. Though Caconym's is almost unreasonable

Suddenly Mechwarrior and Xcom do a crossover game.
Also if any of those mechs can hit anything then 10/10 best Xcom ever.

Meanwhile, in Paradise Lost (which I finally got gifted to me)...

"Well, I tried to save you from the banditos, poor dumb NPC. At least you lived long enough to witness me avenge you. And futilely drop pizza on your face until you croaked and shat out body armor for me."

EDIT: Also...squeeing intensifies.

So now that I'm awake enough to articulate thought.
The last level of Hotline Miami 2 was a big disappointment. I could of dealt with the visual effects and all that but LET me do all the carnage that your so obviously implying the character I'm controlling is doing. Make it challenging and interesting instead of rather boring like they did.
Spoilers for the story ahead
Spoiler:  story spoilers (hover to show)

Just kinda wanted to rant about it a little. I still really enjoyed the game but I wanted the last level to make me feel like a bad ass or something instead of what it was.

Meanwhile in DF...whee, having been reminded of yet another minor raw fuckup Toady has left unfixed for forever, I think I'll give gorlaks the ability to open doors in Adventurecraft.

the ending was just the nuking of Miami, not the entire US. Because if Russia nuked the US no one would go "Nah, they were in the right there." Then fallout would happen. And no one wants that.
I am no longer legitimately considering leaving this forum

It wasn't just Miami, there was also Hawaii at the least since one of the characters was there and they showed him getting blown up as well. Either way in my opinion it was a rather poor way to end the game.
