Notch still felt like a dick after seeing what they did to it. (Ruin modding, outlaw pirating minecraft.)
That makes me feel a bit better about the guy actually. Shows he actually cared a bit.
Now that you mention it, It's been quiet a while since I got to update my personal modpack. 1.8 came along with the new "resource pack" shit and even today, hardly any of the mods I use have been updated. Apparently, modding is incredibly difficult now. Modders wanted an easier to use API, not an impossible to use one.
ALSO, new dwarf fortress version is out.
