Utterly Mad

Starbound update, did you like how annoying birds were before? what if they could fly through your walls and attack you underground? What about those random gen critters right? well fuck that random shit! prefab creatures for everyone! We made them overwrite the random monsters, so you won't see much of them anymore, and no random birds at all! Did you like the long jump provided by the dash+double jump techs? Fuck that too! Dash momentum is no longer retained and jumping in the middle of the dash kills that momentum too!

I like starbound, but apart from these baffling changes, chucklefish has a downright disturbing habit of making features, getting excited about them, and then removing them in the next major update.

Went to go to starbounds site to see what was what, but it appears that the forums are down. With a little digging, I see rumors that chucklefish's servers have been hacked.

I don't like starbound. Its grindy and I don't like the devs. The game became intensely uninteresting after the first few weeks. Kinda like Cataclysm actually.
