Utterly Mad

Also been playing brutal doom. I wasn't aware that the V20B version of brutal doom also came with a map pack that is basically a reboot of the second game. Level design in the original doom 2 was great, the level design in this map pack is amazing. The levels are huge and complex and even give a rehash of the "story" doom 2 had. You start by escaping mars, then you fight through Los Angeles, and then take the fight to hell as you spear head a joint operation between the UAC and the worlds governments TO INVADE HELL. A few new bosses too, as cyber demons and spider masterminds become regular enemies XD. The Los Angeles levels are pretty good, let you fight your way through a suburb and into the heart of the city itself to try and secure the hellmouth at UAC headquarters. Fight a new boss which looks suspiciously like one of the heretic/hexen bosses, but somehow fits in a way.
