They want the offcial mods to be easy to maintain as to not waste time fixing every little time they break and put the strain on mod authors and the cdda forums. Mods like PK and arcana started this way and random knows how often experimentals break mods. The one I made juat broke and I can't fix it right now and mainlining it is out of the question now. i don't necessarily agrew with their decision but I understand it. Now if theybwoukd focus on solving the issues in the way of 0.D that woukd be nice. They are their since The Almighty Granola Bar took his haitus for marloss sake...

I still think that's really just developer laziness. When you know your addition breaks any mainline JSON, run check--mod too. You don't get any fucking slack if you neglect to check the mainline JSON, so you shouldn't get any for not checking the official mods.
