You didn't like what you saw at E3?
I've had time to think about it and retract my remark. what I didn't like was the bethesda reps talking. Having someone trying to sell me their game is annoying. I know I know, its E3, the entire point is to show off and sell the product to investors, but still. The cheering in the background was even worse. The only bits I didnt like about the trailer they showed itself was the lack of dialogue options an the fact that the main character talks to himself.

Part of the fallout/TES appeal is the immersion. Having the character speak takes you out of the immersion by disabling your ability to overlay your thoughts and motivations with the motives of the character. What was the motive of the characters in other fallout/TES games? whatever your motives were. Your character was a digital representation of what you wanted that character to be. By giving the character a personality of his own and introducing limited dialogue options, you take away the players ability to come up with a character that is truly their own, and a part of the immersion is lost.

As a side note, I cant stop thinking of the character from the fallout 4 trailer as "the investment banker"
