The UIK would have aided the UIJ but they were fighting their own war with the CGYI and were unable to send aid. Fortunately the UIK were more prepared, having maintained military discipline among their soldiers and providing the neccessary kit for what they thought was an eventual attack from the expansionist CGYI. The UIK fighters were prepared for the gas and were not phased by the onrushing enemy soldiers, and easily dispatched the fool hardy and victory hungry enemies.
the CGYI soldiers had to switch to attrition tactics, bringing mortar stations and tanks to aid in the combat. However by the time they had moved these forces into position the UIK soldiers had already moved countermeasures into place and eliminated the first rushing wave of tanks and responded with accurate and deadly mortar fire.

The UIJ resistance formed quickly, as many of the civilians had formerly been soldiers of some kind and had the training neccessary. Their weapons were primarily civilian, though they used captured weapons and explosives as well. These boys carried out operations both in the day light and under the cover of night with little fear. They fight for their freedom and they know the risks.
The UIJ resistance has been quite successful but have hit roadblocks, with their lack of any real anti tank capabilities.

So two parts out, might get this done faster then  I thought. Anyway, I might go back and put all the pics in spoilers since they might be a bit big, but they help get across information. I'm trying to keep them primarily black and white as that fits better with what I'm trying to do in my opinion.
