(The insignia of the Death Bringer assault company of the CGYI)
The Assault companies were the best trained and equipped of the CGYI's military. They were also very secluded, and new members were few. These men tended to be considered mentally unstable, and a few members have disappeared from their assigned positions for a number of days, only to return and suggest an advance. After these suggestions the military forces that pushed forward would find enemy positions highly damaged or completely destroyed. They would find dead enemy soldiers neatly laid out in several lines, with dog tags placed on their chests and their weapons lying at their feet. Buildings were either burned out with flamethrowers or blown up with grenades and rockets, either way after sweeping the buildings the soldiers remarked that the building should be demolished, stating that they would not re enter the buildings even if threatened with death from a superior. Upon inspection by officers evidence of scenes of extraordinary violence were found, along with makeshift torture rooms.
When questioned the assault company members neither affirmed or denied their part in these events. The officers in charge of them had no evidence either way, stating simply that the men left their post for a number of day before returning and suggesting a quick advance.

(A prototype of the hydraulic armor the UIK has developed. more advanced versions have already begun production and providing them to their soldiers)
The UIK soldiers outfitted with this armor were able to be mobile while operating weapons previously restricted to vehicle use. Heavy Machine Gunners outfitted with this armor are capable of remaining mobile while still remaining accurate and providing devastating fire power against the enemy. The heavier variant of the rocket launchers used by the UIK are also now viable for infantry to use. Where these rocket launchers would previously have removed a man's arm from the recoil, they can now be used safely and accurately in this armor.
The armor also provides a large increase in strength to the wearer, as well as protection.

(The Emblem of one of the larger cells of UIJ resistance)
The UIJ resistance was not discouraged by the destruction of a few of their cells and they carried on with their guerrilla tactics. They would continue to bomb key positions and railways, and otherwise hinder the CGYI military's assault. One of the largest cells actually managed to take control of an arms train and steal a cache of weapons that would help to fuel the reistance.

Okay, I think I'm almost ready to start the RP. And for those pointing out what looks like an MP5 and M60 in the first image, I chose that one because it was the only one I found that really fit what I was going for, so I had to disregard the discrepancies in weapon tech.
