Utterly Mad

June, 2019:
During the last few years, the political situation between the many outstanding nations has deteriorated to an all time low.
It's hard to say exactly what combination that turned it all out this way, but there are pieces that played a major part. First it would seem like the ambition of young politicans pulls the status quo to halt, seemingly for the sole purpose of enhancing the(ir own) national pride. Then there's the brewing global economy crisis that is enough to make even the most confident bankers shit themselves. And one cannot forget the wide spread of new sub-nuclear weapons, with the destruction and force of a regular nuke, and the only exception that is the lack of widespread and leathal radiation, making it far easier to occupy a nuked city. But it is not as safe as one would belive.
To top it all off, the new and heavily equipped terror cell only known as "Scorpion" have been causing widespread chaos, making every nation far less willing to listen to the diplomacy of the failing UN.

The new cold war seems to be coming to a close, but it would seem that it's not for the better...
Sadly, there is not enough time to escape the blast...

Mechanics are simple (for the player).
I roll a 10-faced dice for everything that needs a success roll, and draw and or add when there's an assisting skill/situation/tool available.
0-5=FAILure
6-10=Success.

This is not the cataclysmic universe. There is no cyborgs, or public robots. There's just the tech of today.

Players do not start with any skills whatsoever, and no advantages. They start with a run-of-the-mill job, that's it.

As always, there's more mechanics than meets the eye for the player.
