Bullets tend to be more dangerous to meaty humans than lasers are, and you shot five. As a side note, bandaging a major artery is a job for a field surgeon and some high-grade medical supplies, not an ex-miner and a strip of cloth. And as a side-side note, there's literally a gaping hole in your chest that's spewing blood. And and as as a side side side note there's a literal horde of mutants outside your door and all of you are in less-than-optimal condition to fight your way through it to god knows where.

Yep. He's taking a nice little nap in his crate. Also, I see that the current situation warrants some drastic action. Something an uncompromising AI is very capable of. If you're going to come up with a solution yourselves, it would be in your mutual interests to do so quickly.
