Intro

"Nocturne is a chaotic world filled millions upon millions of weirdos, beasts, and humans all clashing over territory that will honestly be rendered meaningless in the end. You see The Harvest is almost upon us, the 12th one, yes this has happened before in the past! The Old Gods will awaken and the skies will render themselves unto the Gods as their Outer Plane selves bend reality to reap the souls! But we can stop it, we the Children of Zar'lyeh. You can find us located in Rumshire in the magnificent church right next to Mama Gator's pie shop, and Billsworths novelties and knick-knacks."

"City of Thurnoth, Declared Safest Place On The Plane!" Read the top headline of this weeks edition of the "Gargoyle Herald", below it were articles detailing the latest grisly murder and hottest new conspiracy against The Cathedral that you should believe. Thurnoth is possibly the least safest place on the plane, as a matter of fact you'd have a better time living in the swaps with the Crocmen, at least you'd expect the voodoo sacrifice or getting a knife driven through your breastplate. Vampires are politicians and are of the highest prestige in the city, while still having slaves and feasting on the living for the hell of it; Lycans roam around the city streets creating all sorts of chaos once they decide to let their animalistic instincts take over for a quick high; Crocpeople killing each other to harvest body parts and scales to make a quick buck; Humans raising nine kinds of hell in the streets, just trying to scrape by. Windigos that are actually shockingly peaceful, actually now that you think about it... its been awhile since you've seen a Windigo tear someone to shreds that wasn't in surgery. And then finally you got the other eldritch abominations, piles of mucus, and Thurnoth knows what else roaming in the undercity.

While not civilized, you have to admit its pretty diverse. Which is the best way to describe Thurnoth actually, a large cultural melting pot that mixes all the good and bad with ultra violence spilling over into everything else.


The Races
Crocpeople/Windigos/Undead

"Humanity"
Humans:
Description: Humans are just that, humans. They are technically the minority on the planet due to how many benefits come with turning into a Lycanthrope or "becoming one with the blood". But alas being a human does come with perks, for starters you're less likely to go feral, insane, or blood frenzied; along with that most humans are technologically inclined being able to work the coils with ease.

Vampires:
Description: Vampires are 'gifted' with the blood of Thurnoth, what does this entail exactly? Jackshit nowadays, back in the olden days Vampires were actually something to be afraid of because they actually knew how to use dark and evil magic to manipulate others. Now they just use their good looks, frightful demeanor, and silver tongues to manipulate people into doing what they want. Most Vampires are the highest ranking members of society, and are allowed to keep feeding even after several laws making the act of feasting on the living illegal.

Lycans:
Description: Being the result of some old forgotten ritual to the Old Gods of Nature, they somehow pissed off or messed up the ritual causing them to painfully transform into animal-human hybrids. These tall, hulking-behemoths of beastfolk hail from all over; and despite their appearance, normally have better manners then most species. As their beast form has caused them to be more 'at peace' and 'in tune' with themselves. Even though they go through spurts of 'feral attitude' craving blood, wanting to mate with everything that walks, and generally becoming territorial, there's probably pills that help stave off the 'feral swings' but they probably don't work.

"Beasts"

Gatormen
Description: Large, hulking, aggressive, and mysterious voodoo lizard-like people that inhabit the frozen-melting swamps of Nocturne. Their hard skin makes them resistant to most physical damage or magical damage if their scales have the proper runes etched into the scales. They are also more introverted then most species, usually keeping to themselves and speaking to the point. However to people they call 'friend' they emerge from their social shell and become the most talkative beings on the plane.

Windigos
Description: The peaceful 'Jackalope' creatures with the sharp talons and very imposing figure, hail from the secluded mountains far to the north. They live in silence from the outside world, mostly living their lives as monks trying to understand and ascend with nature. However some of their kind have adapted to modern society and have been successfully indoctrinated into most social circles. Most of the time they're silent, and even when you befriend one they still chose to remain silent. The most common career that they seem to enjoy is having a medical career or having something to do within the area of surgery.

Undead
Description: Undead are just revived corpses that can originate from any species. They're generally used for slave labor and are normally resurrected by Vampires using tesla tech to pull their soul from the void and into their rotting mortal body. Only severe trauma to the head ends the 'lives' of these creatures.

-Recent Crime Wave/News [Going to be the self-stylized TL;DR for people that have missed a couple of days]

-Fashion [Includes common hairstyles for each race, along with clothes. Mainly for inspiration]

-Laws/Rules [Laws you can change through IC player interaction. Rules are the OOC things that you can't change]

Alright, rerewriting this. Have a way fucking better idea, and would probably make for better RP.

I found my notes.... I now know where I went wrong. Rewrite will be up tomorrow.
