Mrno is a derp. <3

Meanwhile, ventured out to resume sweeping the last of the houses on the north side of town. Bunch of undead and dogs are playing in a minefield. Soon however, the last of the northern houses have been swept through. Might just keep circling the area and looting. After that the rest of the day is a fairly mundane bit of crafting stuff.

For the third day, decided I'm going to complete a sweep of all the houses in town if I can. Along the way, finally find a nope zone in a basement. After a few more uneventful houses and a small gunsmithing store, I find an interesting little basement.

At least interesting now that they aren't all over the place. The most useful part is ultimately the SKS I find there, as I'd decided if I do branch out into being a knight with a gun, 7.62x39mm is a good round to focus on. Also provides a safe place to skim the books I've found, and sleep away the end of day 3.

By now the shopping cart's full, so I'm gonna have to either dump the jugs of rotting milk, or head back to the shelter. Somehow that's a hard choice to make. I blame the fact that it won't rot away entirely in a vehicle, last I checked.

And here we have a alley you don't want to meet in a dark fellow. No wait, that came out wrong. This would be a rare time when I get some use out of the SKS, as I'm still not able to just kill everything in melee without a little pain, like with last brute I encountered.

And this is one of the other things I was searching for. My shield is getting a bit battered up. A soldering iron for my sword would be nice too, but I have a welder if I'm desperate. So ends day 4, pretty much.

I set out for the nearby craters to gather stone for something I'm working on, when the dreaded moose attacks! It...actually goes well, in that it can't harm me. In fact a few hits send it running.

And thus the prize, some extra meat and hide. Got enough rocks for now, and then along the way I encountered a deer passing by. Hit it once, it started to flee. When I realized it could outrun me, I threw my sword at it. It's super-effective. Project is a charcoal kiln and smoker, so I can try to get this milk powdered.

This...was effectively my end goal. Yesss. Only took me a whole fucking week.

Well, after a bit of exploring, what have we here? Time to see how deadly this can be. Already I somehow manage to wrap a zombie with a sword. And then, more milk! I must save the milk! D:
