Character Interface Completed...

Please remain seated, and ensure your Central Nervous System Gear is firmly affixed to your body and head...

Starting up... please enjoy BladeLands Online!
Swirling colours surround you for a second, and the screeching of various static noises in your goggles send you signals to your brain to make you tired and eventually fall asleep. This must be how it works; and this must be the coma it will send you in to play BladeLands Online. You could barely contain your excitement, as it was time for a new experience altogether. You had been waiting for this. And now it was time as more swirling squares of blue, yellow, red and other various glitchy-looking things and noises whirling everywhere; complete madness which just made you close your eyes and wince. Before you know it, in a few seconds you pass out, ready to go into the worlds of BladeLands.

You all feel yourself pulse a little inside your bodies, and you appear to be laying on some form of hard, stone floor. Did it work? You look down at your hands... and... yes! It worked! It was weird to see your own hands, your own bodies and move your legs as you all knew perfectly well you were in a game... yet it felt so real! Looking around you, everything was there! You had heard in your inventory items are just... you know... kept in your menu, and you could make them appear when you selected them. Not questioning much, you look around you and gasp.

So this was the Town of Beginnings, where everyone started. You are all in some sort of large, circular area with all the other new players chatting, talking and some were even forming parties already, probably performing meet ups with people they knew in real life. You have a quick check on your map, but you only get a small portion of the aerial view of the Town of Beginnings, not a lot to start with, and you'd think there was some sort of key to help you find shops and such, but oh well. Not having much ideas of the game, and completely fresh to the game, it looks like you would all have to start and get powerful in the game. Sure you could log out and such, but something inside you just made you want to become the most powerful, be the most known in the game and help beat the 80th floor, finishing BladeLands with others... although it wouldn't be easy. Looking at your HUD's, you could see health, stamina and XP, as well as your hunger and thirst. All of which were full apart from the XP bar of course. Level 1. Great. Starting off leveling was always the most tedious, but you had to start somewhere, right? All of you were wielding the weapons the game has chosen for you to start with and you notice they feel almost weightless in your hands. You try giving them a few swings, but apparently this was not a PvP zone, which was understandable then again, which wouldn't allow you to attack. Huh.

Pretty neat. But now it was time to get started. Leveling and such, buying supplies, figuring out where stuff was, and maybe even getting onto the next floors would be a nice possibility.

Welcome to the lands of BladeLands Online!

There is probably no more terrible instance of enlightenment than the one in which you discover your father is a man — with human flesh.
