Been doing some thinking about Sunken Harbors; not really deep into this idea of a GM. Which comes off as me not wanting responsibility, but I like the idea of story-telling by those playing than by me dictating what happens based on dumb fate/luck.

So basically what I'm saying is this: Sunken Harbors is going on, but it's being revamped to a creative story telling direction. The OOC will be flipped into a place where we can discuss what happens next, what our characters will do, and how does this tale form to what we create. I'm more interested in that, and that's what I want to see in an RP.

so, i got around to making my char first.

no idea. its bare bones because we are kinda all in this together, it will develope more as other people from here post sheets. also, we are in SPPPPAAAACE, but havent decided what to name the ship. i vote for naming it Th Ghost Bear Legacy.

Oh yeah, and to make up for the lack of 12th Harvest and other such things. I've gotten around to writing up stuff for Among Gods, and I can put that up instead if someone is wanting a 'dark' alien invasion RP without all the dice rolling.

Basically I've got some plot elements, I decided to set it in a more cyberpunk/tech reliant society so the EMP would have more effect on the characters, I made up some new aliens (that aren't some weird fetish fuel, Jesus how high was I that night?), and finally I decided to take a bit of a Lovecraft angle (which was actually apart of Among Gods the last time around but I made it more prominent) nothing really cosmic horror/supernatural but more of the "Human beings are insane for trying to make things sane. Also they have no real purpose in the universe." Basically it takes the already oppressive overtones and just turns it up to soul-grindingly heart wrenching because Earth is just a battlefield for a much larger conflict that humans are no way involved in.

TL;Didn't care to put it simply above: Humans are basically like insects in any war, unimportant and most likely a nuisance to the soldiers.
