The two lawmen looked at each other with their eyebrows raised, silently conversing with one another. "Not exactly, we came here to tell you that there's a lead in a town up in Sequoia; the woodlands.", the sharply dressed lawman states getting up from the table thanking your aunt for the hospitality. "As for that Land Deed and what the town is: That land deed will most likely end up in the hands of some Mexican General "immigrating" to the US to grab some gold, and with a few rewrites the land is properly his. So I'd suggest not heading back to the farm for a little while. The town where we heard word of "Red" activity is a small location called Jameston, small frontier town much like this one, only more wooded and shadier." He too got up from the table and thanked your aunt. With the tip of the hat and the rugged lawmen promising to return soon, they darted off on their horses down to the south.

As if she had just seen the Grim Reaper claim another one of her kin, she takes a seat at the table looking at you three. "... Now... I-I know that you three wanna head out, I know you do. I know that there's no point in arguing. So I'll just say this.... be careful." With a sigh she buries her face in her hands. You hear stomping coming from the other room, your nephew appears to comfort your weeping aunt.

He looks at you guys, then back to her. All goes silent in the house.

Now you can either:

A. Prepare for the journey the next morning, hastily getting supplies today and packing the wagon. You'll only get a few supplies to start with and very little rest to start out with.

B. You can take a few days to get a plan going, choosing what you'll mainly grab from the general stores and smithies.
