Appearance: A shorter man, with graying brown hair that sits well trimmed atop his round head. His face is clean shaven, and there are signs of aging across it. His eyes are a dark hazel, with rings of gold around the outside. He's not particularly muscular, but he appears to be in good health.

Background: James was born to a middle class family who knew the importance of frugality, but still did not know the strenuous task of worrying about where your next meal was coming from. They all lived in a quiet town in Washington state, where his father worked as a police officer and his mother cooked and cleaned. It was his dream to become an officer, just as his father was, and for a few years he served alongside him in the force. When his father retired, he took his place as a detective, and spent many years in that quiet town looking into small regional cases ranging from stolen property to manslaughter. If he learned anything from those years, it was to be cautious. Many things lurked in the backwoods of Washington, and very few of them were interested in making friends.
