Okay, since I've thought up a couple issues that might occur I'd like to propose a couple of rules concerning what characters are allowed to be.
First off: Player characters may not be the leaders of the mega corporations. Reasoning being that if a player gets pissy he can very easily screw things up in this position and make it frustrating both for GMs and other players(IE HUGE price spike for certain weapons for no reason, starting a stupid war which these companies are capable of)
Second: Player Characters may not start as the leader of any species or nation. They can get there, but not start there. Reasoning: The process of achieving that stature would be interesting, and I think it's not something we should just let happen at a finger snap. Make the process occur in character, see how the venture itself plays out. Also, helps to avoid spite characters that would just start a war or something.

Just some things I thought up.
