His parents gave him the best care, and of course, the best bionics. When he grew up a little more, he showed an interest in the bionics that had saved his life. He taught himself how bionics worked and even learned enough surgery to install them himself. He has a lot of passive bionics to replace the functions he lost in the accident. He also has a bunch of other bionics that he installed himself, some that he even designed.
