Irving gets up from his chair, he waves goodbye and then he leaves for the RV.

[[Alright next time I'll just take a lack of updates as a, "AJ plz skip to the action" And that's fine with me, I haven't wasted the past two weeks of my life writing locations and characters for nothing. SO LETS GET THIS FUCKING SHOW ON THE LITERAL ROAD!]]

[[Also I've been padding out this intro, sorry if I'm cutting anyone off, but we really need to get this going.]]

What felt like an eternity

After skipping the ARRRRPPPPEEEE loading up the weapons, crates of munitions, and loading up the "combat-ready" RV with enough rations to make a prepper blush. You take off out of the town, waving your tear-filled handkerchiefs out the windows as you speed down the dirt road to the gate. The gate KEEPAH SENDS YOU TO DA' BLACK HOL! keepers open the gates, and you obviously zoom out the doors.

And instead of giving you a choice on where to go, your DM automated plot-device driving system God himself A block of cheese Seb overcome by the feelings of dealing out vigilante justice heads towards where the remnants are. The forest becoming nothing but a green and brown blur, as you speed onto the long asphalt road that leads you into the tall green grass fields.

You start to slow down to cruising speed as you drive out of the forest and into the previously mention field, it stretches on for miles and miles, tall (green) grass dances with the wind like waves, and rolling hills go on beyond what you can see. The sky is bluer then it has ever been, with a few puffy white clouds hanging high in the sky. Outside you can smell the clean morning air, with just a hint of burnt tire. Down the road is a lone standing billboard that has been partially reclaimed by nature, at it's base is the camp of remnants, with a radius of grass that has been burnt away that's about the size of the camp. The camp has a few buggies parked around the billboard, with three (forest-digital) camopatterned tents set up near the 'edge' of the camp site.

You can see four people standing in the road near the billboard, you can't make out any details from this distance.

So, they were off to handle the remnants.  Seeing as how nobody seemed to bother to step up and drive the RV, Seb took responsibility, mildly uncomfortable in the driver's seat due to his large frame and digitigrade leg structure.

As he drove, his mind wandered.  He wasn't sure what to think about being placed in a command role by the powers that be.  Content as he was in the forward recon unit, the news that he was to be promoted came as a shock considering his shaky reputation around town beyond the immediate circle of Mrs. Margaret's family.  Although, he thought as he quickly glanced over his shoulder, considering the...ah...quality of those placed under his command based on spending the past several days with them, he wondered why he was surprised at all.  The wolf mutant began to really appreciate the leader of his old crew before he came to Deliverance Company.  Leading around a group this dysfunctional was like herding cats, and he wondered how his old leader dealt with it.  A smile crept onto his face as his thoughts returned to those times, remembering all sorts of shennanigans, their colorful personalities, and the joys of plans both perfectly executed and gone awry saved by quick improvisation ...before their lives were torn away.  His ears folded back and his paws tightened around the steering wheel; the worn synthetic material creaked from the pressure.  Pushing the memories away, he returned his full attention to the road.

Their scent came through from the outside long before he could see them on the horizon.  The faint cornchip stink of human sweat carried on the wind.  As the remnant camp came into view, Seb pulls off the road, stopping a good distance away.  He was sure they had seen the RV, as there wasn't much out here on the open plains to hide a vehicle behind.  That didn't mean that there weren't other ways to gain an advantage.  Standing, he enters the main cabin of the RV while drawing the Bear, loading it with huge .50 caliber bullets as he spoke.

"They're outside, right in the middle of the road.  Remnant ****s.  I've an idea of how to handle this situation, but I want...or suppose I want to hear your input first."

He lays out the situation from what he could see at a distance to the group.  "Options?"

"Run 'em over like roadkill!" Drake suggested, pure bloodlust making him sound slightly more insane than he usually is.

Seb snaps the Bear closed having finished loading it and inhaled sharply through clenched jaws, turning his gaze upwards as if pleading with a greater power to deliver him from this nonsense.

"Anyone else?" He waved his free paw around the cabin, inviting input from others.

"We could check the RV for a pair of binoculars or something similar to scope them out, see if they're friendly or, take them out from a distance with one of these rifles here." Irving says. He pulls out his Mataba and pops the cylander out, "If we plan on taking them out please don't kill them all, one of them may have some helpful information."

[[Really liking this group. Yeah its going a bit slow, but **** at least its consistent and still going after 13 pages lot better then Dramabomb Road I'd say. I'll get the lore thread up... in the future, maybe sometime this month. I've gotten enough written that I've filled up nearly 10 pages. And that's just The Backstory and World description. The Locations and Weapons took another 5 pages, and Characters is starting to take up quite a few pages. So almost 20-30ish pages as of right now.]]

"Them camping at the side of a road and hassling people passing by would imply that they're not exactly friendly.  But..." Seb points a claw in Irving's direction.  "...I like it more than speeding headlong at a wall of bullets in an unarmored vehicle.  They may be more agreeable if we wave our authority around instead.  Might be able to have a little chat, convince them to **** off without a fight."

He swept his paws down his torso sheepishly.

"However, I...may not be the best one to speak to them."

A weight settled in his chest as he was torn between the risk of being shot on sight himself, his thoughts drifting back to Mack's dealer, or having someone even more socially awkward speak to the Remnants.

"Right...anything else?"

"Convincing them to fack off may make them go away, but that's all it does. They'll just start doing the same shit somewhere else for less prepared people to deal with, or even come back here even stronger. I say we kill them here and now, and we could keep one alive, at most, for interrogation or whatever. And even then, I hope we can fuck him up a little."

"And fine, no badass moment of running them over, *sigh*"

Des sits up in his chair and breaks his silence. Pulling one of his UZIs out, he traces out a line in the air with the end of a barrel. "Okay, how about we combine the plans? We pull up nearby, as close as we can get without setting them off, and appear to be giving them a diplomatic 'hello'. We send out the least threatening person aboard while the rest of us hunker down near the RV's windows and roof access." He looks up at the others. "Once our trojan give us the cue, we open fire. It's a dirty tactic, but it might work."

"It would be preferable if we left one alive, if they're organized in any way shape or form they'll have stashes around somewhere. I can get the info outta them." Irving said, popping the cylinder back in and spinning it.

Seb holsters the Bear and pulls out his Anaconda, confirming that it was loaded.  Satisfied, he snaps it closed and puts it away.

"Fair enough.  Zaweri's on point in the driver's seat.  The rest of you lot hide in the RV until the signal is given.  I've stealth training, so I can find a concealed position in the grass near the camp with..." He wraps his claws around the RPK propped up against a nearby wall, easily hefting the LMG up.  "...this here and lay down some suppressing fire should it go sour."  He grabs a drum magazine from the ammo stockpile and loads the weapon.  "I'll get off here.  Give me five minutes to get into position before moving out.  Clear?"  The wolf mutant pockets two extra RPK magazines and looks around the cabin expectantly, positioning himself near the door leading outside.

Zaweri nods as he holsters his revolver. He stops the RV for Seb to get out, and waits for 5 minutes.
"Everyone ready?"
