Utterly Mad

[[Alright this week I'm taking a break from streaming and Hotline Miami to focus a lot more on The Highway, so updates will be a lot more constant this week. And no I'm not lying this time.]]

"You really have to ask what they did in these labs to make the food hostile.", Joshua says as he unholsters his shotgun taking a spot by your side. You fire a quick burst at the food! The bullets pierce the initial layer of food, blood and moldy gunk fly off as the bullets impact. SUDDENLY! The food rears up, the moldy gunk sprays off like an explosion! Underneath the layers of food is a giant snake, it's scales shine with blood and a thin layer of mucus, it's fangs are razor sharp with violet venom dripping off the tip of it's fangs, it prepares to strike!

Joshua fires both barrels on his shotgun at the snake's head! The blast hits the snake right in the head, scales fly off in bloody chunks revealing a soft layer of muscle!

Graham is still on the ground, because he hasn't added an action yet.

Main Group

"Trust me friend, if you had started firing I'd have blasted your head all the way back to New York. And for someone whose not the "jumpiest" you sure were quick to pull out a firearm.", says the Golden Man as slides his weapon back into his coat. He turns towards the ditch and begins to slowly head toward it, "He's down in this ditch in my side car, we were following some lead we got on some bandits from New York. Suits is what we've started calling'em, these guys have been terrorizing the town down the road," He points west. "Needless to say we bit off more then we could chew, one of them saw us. So me and my partner went with plan B, where we drove through a field where we had set up an ambush prior to this. Townsfolk, farmers, sons and daughters. Real nice people. Thought you were apart of their caravans until I saw your armor."

Graham groans, "Gah, fuck, sorry." He gets up.

"Hey, a direction. I'll drive in its generality when you get back in here!" Duncan says as he waits for Zaweri the nerd to get back into the RV.

Main Group

"Huh," The man stops for a second and waves toward Ivan. "Of course! They're all down in the ditch though picking through the bodies like vultures to corpses. They're real nice folks, but they don't really respect the dead like me and my friend do." Zaweri and The Man in Gold proceed into the valley, as you head into the rim of the valley you can see the amount of carnage that took place. Completely ignoring
 Chalk's rumblings.

Buggies engulfed in flames with their drivers' corpses sizzling inside the seats, ATVs reduced to nothing but scrap metal scattered around the valley, black patches of grass where flames once stood, blackened ash gently blowing over the battlefield coating everything like snow. You can see people with rifles on their backs picking through the wreckage, taking batteries, siphoning gasoline from the vehicles that weren't completely demolished. A few people take notice too you to entering into the scarred valley.

In the center of all this chaos is a small bike with a sidecar attached, in the sidecar is a man that seems as old as the buildings you've seen reclaimed by nature; his hair is nappy, covered in grass, twigs, and mud. He has a beard that is so long that it goes over the hood of the sidecar and rests in a pile on the ground.

"So does this one actually know medicine or is this another "doctor".", The old man cackles out as he leans back in the seat revealing his bullet wound. It hit him center mass in the left pec, blood has stopped oozing out of the wound. But the shrapnel needs to be removed and the wound needs to be cleaned up.

"Be nice you old kook, the man here didn't even have to bother coming down here.", the cowboy chuckles as he takes a seat on his bike.

Ivan runs to them.

Isaac: !!CRITICAL!! You unload a rapid-fire burst into the exposed flesh on the beast's head! Blood and tendon fly in huge chunks, exposing the fleshy grey-matter underneath the flesh. THE BEAST IS SENT REELING, STUNNED BY THE LEAD LODGED INTO IT'S BRAIN.

Jacob: Breaks open the chamber sending two smoking shells flying out of the gun, they twirl and curl as they swirl through the air and unto the ground. He slams two new shells into the gun and flicks the barrel back into place.

Graham: Without any specified orientation of fire I let the dice decide. You fire off a few rounds from your lever-action, flames spew from the barrel with each shot, hot cartridges fly out the chamber as you cock the lever to load the next round in. Your bullets scrape off more scales from the center of the snake's back. Exposing more of it's tender flesh. Blood creeps up on the surface of the fleshy bits, and pools up in the crevices in it's flesh.


You can hear people rushing down a flight of stairs on the other side of the blocked door! Lights begin to shine through the glass windows on the doors!

The snake looks like it's about to give into the sweet embrace of death!

Main Group

Being a little too excited to miss out on some potential action, Ivan runs towards where they went. Seeing much of the same. People take more notice to the random guy running down the hill with the gun in his hand, but they soon go back to looting.

You can see Zaweri about to tend to some older gentleman, with The Man in Gold sitting on the main bike twirling a semi-automatic pistol around like a true desperado.

Let's go to that doctor and see what happens! he says excited.

Graham aims at the snakes head bit, and firing.
