Haven't installed it yet. First I had to wait for a new PSU cause I realized my old/current one was insufficient to run after the 1070 was ordered (cause i'm an idiot like that!). I have one cable stopping me from being able to take out the old PSU because it's being a PITA to remove. I either can't get at the little release tab or the thing aint budging.

That looks like the mobo power cord, they're always either absolute fuckers to remove or they practically fall out on their own. What PSU do you have anyway? The 1070 will comfortably run on a PSU that has a bit less wattage than what it's rated for, maybe just underclock it a tiny bit to be safe.
Also getting no slowness on the forum myself, but I'll run through some maintenance stuff again and see if it fixes anything, there seems to have been a few issues with the forum in general lately.
