First it started with hostages being taken at a Eagles of Death Metal concert, with the hostage count rising. Then there was a shootout at a restaurant along with two bombings at two other restaurants. Then there was a suicide bombing at the stadium where the French President was watching the game. Then it turns out that (I can't recall the name)- just read the article and try to ignore the tolls.
The point is, is that this attack was out of nowhere and created so much panic and confusion. I mean Russia was pissed at the Islamic State before, but if they're behind the attack then Russia, France, and God knows who else is going to literally Armageddon the fuck out of the Middle East (Which is what ISIS wants since they'll think it'll bring the end of days or whatever bullshit they think is real, but they want America to attack them since America is "similar to Rome").
The French borders are even closed now while they try to figure out what even happened. The US is speculating that Al Quedai was behind the attack, while not ruling out ISIS. While the rest of Europe is just trying to help France contain the situation.
I mean holy fuck I didn't think we'd be getting Fallout 5 this early.
