Generally knife wounds don't hurt for quite some time, if you ever feel any pain from them at all, not due to adrenaline like most people think, since my knife wound wasn't in a situation where I'd be too full of adrenaline to feel it, it's simply because the cut severs most of the nerves in the area and it takes them a while to recover enough to realise they've been damaged, so they should let your brain know you're in pain
I'd have to disagree. Getting stabbed really, really fucking hurts, and even worse than that, feels just incredibly unnatural*. That thing should not be inside your body. I think in the case of getting cut with a sharp knife, the above is true though.
*To the point that I almost have a knife phobia now if the blade is at all pointy.
