As a hollow and not an unkindled, I prefer the classic sunny D.
Wish I had the cash to get DS3. Gotta upgrade my DS2 to scholar of the first sin and play that first though.

Yeah. SOTFS is worth it, makes the game harder. If you get it on PC we can JOLLY COOPERATION our way through it.

I've got the regular on PC. Never tried to coop in souls, or is it a thing that's only a part of SOTFS?

You never summoned a phantom? And dark 2 has a ring that makes it easier to match make with your friends.

I've summoned phantoms, I just don't see the summon signs often. I'm going through NG+ right now and I just saw the dragon covenant sign for the first time. Most of the summon signs I do see are placed in places where they are not needed. The last time I summoned another player was back when the game first came out just before the pursuer boss fight. I summoned two guys and one of them kept trying to hit me with the ballista. He actually killed the other guy I had summoned by hitting him twice with it. It wasn't an accident either, the pursuer was no where near the ballista's firing line.

I'm not sure what to do with a horse as I spend a majority of my traveling walking or in some dark corner of an idiotic adventurers bag. I think the most interaction I've ever had to horses was eating them. Thanks? I guess I'll have churls to put together somewhere to keep it.

UPDATE
The horse Apathetic gave me managed to escape by jimmying the bolt on it's new pen. What followed was a seven hour chase through the countryside dodging the arrows and bullets of the angry mob that had been patiently waiting outside the barbican gate. Afterwords we learned the value of friendship and good horse etiquette, which is a euphemism for "Woops, I accidentally crushed the horses ribcage in furious rage. I'm going to taxidermy and reanimate it so apathetic doesn't know I killed it. Later I'll bolt some copper plating onto it's interior and smuggle delicate objects and necromantic contraband inside it's hollowed out rib cage while riding it through the city streets disguised as a tax collector or a leper."
