I did indeed savescum the fuck out of that game, because combat tends to turn south against you when fighting even basic enemies like jackals, way more than you'd expect. Plus all the leprosy. ALL OF IT.

So far it seems the only way to deal with the enner beast is to try and get pat it, unless you've somehow lucked out enough to change your body materials into tougher metals. I should've either tried to look out for a polymorph wand, or maybe prayed to Scabies. Can't recall if I'd snagged her on the prayer list in that game though.

In any case, I got bored after cheating through the loud bastard with wizard mode, then tried my hand at modding the game. I'm...pissed. Why the fuck won't the game acknowledge additional items? The items are there in a script file, so WHY is it acting like the actuals are actually hardcoded?

gotta love Dragon Age Origins, with it's dumb as bricks AI and the funny animations of missing shots with bows. Seriously, point blank and the shot sails over my target into the crowd behind them.

Patting it, seems like a good way to get past any beast. Belly rubs could've worked too.

Rather disappointed that modding seems to fall flat for IVAN, it seems like a system that has promise.

Holy banana of oily orpiv. GIT ONE! Increases all the stats by 1 and makes you overfed for a hell of a long time. It also throws fireballs.
Best way to take down the enner beast is quickly. You can actually pinpoint his location with a "scroll of find material." Just use it to search for "enner beast flesh." He isn't fond of fireballs.
You prolly know all this already, but I'd say put your potions into tin cans instead of leaving them in the bottles. Cuz... he breaks them and you'll lose your potions the moment you hit that level.

That game, I did not get a holy banana. Nor a scroll of detect material. Tin cans I was able to do though. It did not stop the RAPID death when within ten tiles of him, as literally the only wand of fire I found was back in the first dungeon.

And again, halp. How do I mod this potato game. D:

I honestly don't know dragon. I never modded it before.

Did you know, if you change the material of a bottle into a liquid and then drink the liquid inside the bottle, you'll consume both the bottle and it's contents, and get the effects of both. I used to squeeze extra ommel extract points doing that. The same works for cans. you lose the container of course, but it's a good use for cans.

So, I am faced with a conundrum. Someone was insane enough to gift me Doom 4. I'm not sure if my PC can even handle it, but who knows. However? 60 fucking gigs of fat demon ass to download.

If I install via desktop, my internet will weep tears of blood. If I get clever and use the laptop plus wifi, I dunno if my laptop has space for that, and transferring via 16 GB flash drive will be tricky.

If it's doom, then your PC should be weeping tears of blood.

In all seriousness, I'd say bite the bullet and drink those tears. And remember, Id made the game, but Bethesda determines the system reqs. As I know full well from running fallout 4 perfectly fine on my nearly 6 year old computer, Bethesda either lies or doesn't know shit about required system specs. Seriously, I don't meet anywhere close to the FO4 requirements but it runs fine other than the games own glaring flaws.

If you have wifi you can borrow download it to your laptop and when you get home connect your laptop to your PC via a Ethernet cable, network them together and transfer doom's files that way.
