Oblivion is a headache to mod, it's the only thing that stops me from playing it again, because I put too many hours into vanilla to enjoy it anymore.
Datanazush (from the old Cata forums, still in the Discord) taught me a simple way to mod Oblivion about... A year ago or so? And I am fairly modding-illiterate. If I could just remember how.
