Meanwhile in Dwarf Fortress Kobold Kamp...bug of the day: Stone bridges being impossible to build due to demanding metalsmithing, same reason behind stone goblets and sarcophagi.
That's bizarre.
The DOOM multiplayer is in open beta. 35% positive reviews. Lemme lay it down for you, despite the majority of reviews being negative, I will still try this out. As bad as it may be, it still gives a somewhat good idea of how the engine handles and feels. I could give less than a shit about the multiplayer, as it is rarely indicative of main game play. I give less than a shit about the season pass bullshit Bethesda is pulling on this. What I care about is the main game. What I've seen of "gameplay" so far is little more than an on rails scripted gameplay, such trailers are not indicative of real gameplay. I don't really give a shit if Bethesda and id are lifting features from brutal doom and project brutality, as some of those features are great. I grew up with DOOM, it's the first game I can remember playing. What I can see graphically is pleasing and promising, a nice mix of classic enemy designs from 1 and 2 mixed with more modern variants from DOOM 3, but graphics do not make or break a game. Come next month, the main game will be released. I swear on my life, if they fuck this up, I'm done. Not that it would matter to them of course, but as far as I'm concerned, Bethesda can take every single product they have, and go fuck themselves with it. You can fuck around with your fallout and I can forgive that, but you can't shit on my childhood and call it good. I will fist fight any one of you that tries to defend it after that point if it's a failure. I swear to god.
