Utterly Mad

But I'm not pre-ordering. That and I've watched the leak gameplay abd liked what I saw. Everything they said was there is there. And I looks exactly like how Fallout 3 and New Vegas were.

There were a few things I saw that I didn't like, namely Dogmeat's retarded AI, some of the textures, and the animations for talking.

I know what I'm getting into now, that was literally the only thing I was worried about is if they'd fuck it up or not. They didn't, everything looks well though out and polished.

But there is one real con that I'll never forgive Fallout 4 for. Its not an RPG in the slightest, its a FPS with RPG mechanics, think about Fallout 3 and do away with skills and complex dialogue trees. Bring back that fucking percentage chance bullshit for speech successes, and you got Fallout 4's dialogue in a nutshell.

But apparently if you have high charisma you get more choices to choose from.


The point is, is that I saw the game and it met my expectations. Because I set my expectations extremely low after more info came out. I've seen how it plays, and how the mechanics work. I'm excited for the game to come out, and it'll probably be a hot mess in the beginning but fuck it.

I wanna bitch about gamebreaking bugs when it comes out.

I had a lot of fun with vanilla Skyrim for the few months I couldn't mod it, I think we will be fine.

Or, maybe, just this once, Bethesda actually won't have too many bugs.

BWAHAHAFHA. God, almost made it through that without laughing. Seriously though, its gonna be GOOOD.

Just remember, skyrim was literally unplayable on launch. No, not metaphorically. literally. On that day on November 11, 2011, everyone booted up skyrim for the first time to find that you could not get past the tutorial because of the unavoidable bug that completely fucked the intro. I will wait a few weeks before going for fallout 4 so that it has time to patch out the inevitable bugs.

holy shit, in my head at least, I sound like a fucking dick. Sorry if I came across like that guys, I just don't have any faith in Bethesda's ability to release a polished product.
What I'm really saying is, CALM YOUR HYPE BONERS! If you get too hype and something goes wrong, you'll just be angrier if it happens.

That's why I didn't get all hyped up until the leaked gameplay came out, the game met the expectations I was hoping it met, because I set my expectations beyond low after Skyrim happened.

But I honestly want to play the game to see if its worth it for the rest of ya'll, I'm not going into it with Bethesda hype-goggles, I'm wanting to play it and criticize the fuck outta it since I could probably give you guys an honest first impression of the first couple of hours. I can guarantee you I'll play it a lot more then Skyrim because I honestly like Fallout's setting much more over Tamriel.

The Pipboy app came out today and I played around with it, apparently you can cook food in the game, make drugs, and all the other Skyrim-styled crafting bullshit. And with Skills gone and done, I think the crafting in this will be a lot less grind-y.

I am thoroughly excited for the game to come out, as my first post suggested. And seeing as how the PS4 and XBONE leaks were smooth, nice looking experiences to watch, I have some slight hope Bethesda didn't fuck up this time.



However... I am hearing some good and bad about the story, some leaked review came out earlier then intended, and while the reviewer was a complete twat that basically gave Fallout 4 a bad review for: (Graphics, Characters, STORY, NPCs, and QUESTS) Its real fucking obvious he didn't play for long, because he didn't touch upon the guncrafting, settlement building, or any of the other shit Bethesda was advertising the most. I mean he didn't play out of the starting area, and that's some real bullshit to call a game shit even though you didn't beat it.


But from the leakers and people who managed to get the game early, they aren't talking about the story at all because exploring the game world is a lot more fun.

So my best guess, Fallout 4 is going to be Fallout 3 part 2 or in this case Bethesda's Fallout 2. Its more fun to take on sidequests and go exploring, then to play the story and try to be apart of the world... But then again from that trailer I posted, it looks like it'll have something to do with the "RED SCARE" stuff that was going on in the fifties, only replace "RED COMMIE PINKOS" with "ANDROIDS THAT ARE ANDROIDS AND WE HATE THEM FOR SOME REASON".

Okay I'm watching more of the gameplay, hearing about the story and how the writing is kinda hurt me a bit, but the gunplay is good, there's no stuttering or freezing as far as I can tell on PC, the animations do look improved a bit, and the soundtrack is what I usually listen to.

Also some Fallout 3 tunes have returned, namely: "Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall"

But yeah, I'm going to be heading into Fallout 4 with a fluttering head feeling of excitement, and a pit in my stomach knowing the somehow Bethesda possibly fucked up the most important part to an RPG, the story and characters. Oh well, I'm hoping it'll be more like the good parts of Fallout then the bad.
