In other news, Doom-mod-related things...might make archviles able to summon things, Doom 3 style.

In cata I do 0.1 mob spawns, 0.05 item spawns, and eternal winter. I call it "The Road". I have an 870 with a full bandoleer of reloaded 00 shot and the shotgun full of shells.

I tried to stay as far away from that salt as possible, personally. I still play Cata every now and then, and have one of the nightlies from like 3 weeks ago loaded onto my computer at home. I think I might stick with that one if the nutrition system is getting overhauled the way it is; in a real apocalypse, I don't think I'd care too much about balancing my diet TBH.

My current strategy food-wise is to just hoard the meaty and drink-y stuff from vending machines, dumping the nasty drinks, and reusing the bottles for water. Weapons are currently... something. I dunno, I haven't touched Cata in a while.

Honestly how many people actually eat a well varied and balanced diet? And the majority of those people are in pretty good health, a nutrition system in a game just seems stupid tbh, other than for balancing reasons, such as preventing you from eating one easily gatherable kind of food, but if that's your reason then you've done something wrong when part of the challenge of the game is finding food.

I barely notice the nutrition system at all, it might be because I'm one of the few people that actually eats a variety of food in game even before the update. Most foods you can find have the vitamins you need. I find it's not really a 'balanced diet' as it's 'have the bare minimum so you don't fucking die of malnourishment'

A little salt is alright, it flavors the soup of life. Too much salt can give you sodium poisoning though, so let off a little at a time.
I got junk jack. It was the best game on the ipod, but on the PC it's too expensive. wait till it goes on sale.

I mean, my character's the fucking Guy Fieri of the apocalypse, so I haven't really seen anything to worry about.

Vegetable pies/pizza/sandwiches, cooked meat, all the rice and bean dishes, and various sandwiches made from flatbread have all been doing me fine.

anyways, I went to see if anything has changed with minecraft recently. Tell me, what kind of changelog is this?

    The server is now more stable
    The client is now more stable
    Introduced a new bug
    Made sure the new bug “should never happen”
    Everything is now more stable
    Unfortunately, there is no stable, so the horse will have to stay hitched to other things

What the actual fuck is this shit?

Also, it's been almost two years and most mods are STILL stuck in version 1.7.10. Holy fuck, they really broke the moddability of minecraft didn't they?

They stopped supporting mods in ANY form after 1.7.1.0. Like, they won't work at all. I just got a good modpack courtesy of Zaweri, and have been using it. So much better than current vanilla minecraft.
