I've 'fixed' the repair kits in Misery, of course by fixing I mean putting duct tape over a hole in a ship, but it'll do. It's extremely exploitable since repair kits still spawn with a single use remaining and once used it replaces it with a more expensive unused version, so theoretically you could buy cheap single use ones, use them and then sell the 'unused' one back for a profit. Although repair kits by themself no longer repair at all, it's the additional items, that are used up, that actually repair, though I've found you can just use a swiss knife or a crowbar to infinitely repair 2% at a time, but it does take a very long time to actually get anywhere, so it seems okay.

If anyone wants the files for it just PM me and I'll send them over, although it's not hard to change the code yourself it's somewhat time consuming.

Eventually I'll make it so the used repair kits don't spawn and take out the excess code that made repair kits work the way they originally did.

I've ran into an issue that didn't seem to happen at first, using some repair kits, I don't think it's all of them, when it only has one use left doesn't seem to add a new, unused one, into your inventory like it should, it just removes it like it originally did. Using a repair kit with more than one use left adds an unused one into your inventory though.

What I can't work out is why this didn't happen at first, I've looked over the code and I really can't figure out what it is, although I'm fucking shitty with code so I'm probably being dumb and I've missed a number for an item somewhere, which is what I think it is, but I can't work out where or what one.

I've been up all night though so I'll take a look at it later, though I did find out someone did pretty much the exact same thing for the last version of Misery but the files don't seem to be available anymore, so I can't see how they did it.

EDIT: Nevermind I suddenly realised what it might have been and fixed it, I was forgetting to add in a reference for the last use repair kit, since there was no reference because there didn't need to be, the script removed any item from your inventory if it didn't find a reference for it. I could just remove the four lines of code that remove the items but I dunno if another bit of code checks for it, so I'd rather leave it and add the references.

Well, this is derp. Progress on the Hexen mod has stalled because my friend that has the idea in the first place lost interest, and I've been the only one working on it for about 80% of the way. >.>

He did...a thing. Some of the things I needed for the foundation of the mod. Granted I could've done it with less typos, but still helpful. :V

Yus, I started kinda losing interest in the mod. Still got farther than I figured I would, and it proved useful for learning ACS scripting.

And yep, played Unhinged with a friend at one point. It...isn't well balanced and coded for co-op. Part of the starting script only affects player 1, a weapon you NEED to pick up to trigger a script can be obtained in a secret earlier (which precludes picking it up in co-op), and it has starting scripts that mess up weapon-replacement mods.

Been playing this browser game called Torn City. Basically a crime simulator where you work your way up from a grocery clerk to a company leader in a powerful faction with in game trading, racing, gambling and combat. Pretty fun as far as text games go.

(If you're thinking of joining up I'd be grateful if you used my ref code)
