Utterly Mad

"We held the line, the brave 'bolds of our military fended off the savage elven forces that came to destroy us. Yes at great cost, many lost their lives in the assault but we held the line. The elves came, they didn't send people wanting to join our society they sent thugs, murderers, blood thirsty barbarians and we held the line. I propose improved defenses so we may hold the line again when the time comes, I say we build a wall and make the elves pay for it!"

Main battlefield:
The idea was to funnel the elves into the narrow entrance where they could get picked off by bowbolds. This worked well initially as two elves came far ahead of the rest on their own and got swarmed. Then everything went to chaos.
