Yeah, pretty fun if you like gun prons and is pretty satisfying when you get a kill.

Does anybody else remember the absolutely spectacular, addictive trainwreck that was Two Worlds?
Imagine a budget Oblivion with 20x the content but like half the amount of total gameplay, and sort of weird controls.
Also console commands on consoles.

Spent a lot of time dicking about on it when it came out, recently decided to pick it up again and I'm not regretting it at all.
I tried playing the second one and the nostalgia, of lack of, is mostly what's keeping me from enjoying it, plus the fact that is doesn't work properly because a lot of textures are unplayably broken for me.

yeah, i'd punch an old lady.
Everything's gunpowder if you have enough oxidizer.
It can only mean the shenangularity.

It's so bad that a kind of grandeur creeps in. Second game was actually ok. Not Oblivion good, but good.

I'm gonna try MISERY for Call of Pripyat again tonight. I'm pretty sure I stopped playing when there was like, two burers and a psy-dog cornering me in a dark room with two shells left in my shotty. Might have to load an earlier save ;-;

I once quicksaved while falling off of a fatal drop.
i lost 5 hours of looting.
Its a great mod though, well worth it.
Myself, i have been playing MechCommander 2 today.

I think it could be better, though. It's not realistic in the fact that, while realistic damage is applied to you, everything else becomes a complete bullet sponge. You're like, wet tissue that's also been lit on fire.

I play with the Rookie mode turned on. Its a LOT better of a game in that setting IMO, and it applies the same damage to everyone.

THANK YOU PERI
Reinstall the latest version, and install Rookie Mode instead of the other one. It lowers item buy prices, raises sell prices, makes you a tad more durable, and makes enemies less bullet spongy (I killed a guy in an exosuit with less than a mag from a MP44). Zombies are actually harder to kill than in the base, unmodded game though. By a huge margin at that.

Wow, that's crazy. I like the sound of this; guessing it's more centric on the newer graphics, new weapons, and other such content, as opposed to the difficulty. Kinda like playing Dust on easy mode.

No, its still WAAAAAAAAAAY harder than the base game, its just not unfair like Misery usually is. A wood stove is like 1500 rubles, charcoal is 800 a bag, and mutant meat (if you don't just hunt it yourself) is 500 for raw Flesh Bacon. And, like I said, its just less unfair.

Well, yeah, I knew it was still gonna be harder than the base game, it's just sliiightly easier than normal MISERY.

I find that I'm actually pretty good at ultra-realistic game-changing mods like Wanderer's Edition, MISERY, Project Nevada, etc.

I think it's my tendency to be able to sit there for hours at a time, patiently waiting through the loading screens after death and trying again at a different angle. I'm never actually that great at the game itself, it's just dependent on patience.

I'm the opposite. I'm good at games (cept for EYE for some reason), I just have little patience if it isn't a strategy game. If it isn't one, then I just play to have fun, when I stop having fun, I leave. Strategy games I am willing to sit for hours to watch my little soldiers kill everything. Realism is good and all, but when it stops being challenging and fun, and starts being boring and stupid unfair, I bail. Cataclysm had that problem, among others.

Cataclysm was a perfect example for me. When I didn't have anything else to do, I could power through three hours of slow gameplay until I finally amounted to something. I find myself a lot worse at fast games. Anything multiplayer, I'm gonna lose. I've got no real reaction time; half of any kills or wins I get'll be reflex or luck.

I can play UT2004 with the bots on the third hardest (out of 15 I think?) difficulty level, 20 at a time, on instagib mode. I'm good at games, I just get bored easy.
