Greer:
You step in and confidently greet the bandits.
They turn hastly, carrying crude weapons made from scrap. Their clothes are dirty and worn.
The one that was complaining speaks up,
"FUCK! I knew we shoudn't have raided a tower caravan! I KNEW-"
The one who was working on the locker interupts him,
"SHUT UP BILL!"
He lowers his weapon, and speaks directly to you.
"Listen, pal. If you're here about the caravan, just listen for a moment. There's enough to gain here for everyone..."

Sammy & Lucy:
Each doing yours to gain the figure's attention, it seems to work. The character gets up quickly, then walks on over to the door.
With a click and a clack, the door goes open, and an average-looking character emerge from it.

The man is wearing a a suit made of scrap plates, a gas mask, and a metal helmet. He's also carrying a gun, a medium-caliber one.

He looks at you, casually aiming his gun from the hip.
"Listen, I don't want any more problems here. I'm having a hard enough time getting things to work here, so it would only be salting wounds to kill and or rob me."

Griffin:
You struggle to open the cage, to break it, anything. But it's sturdily built, and the lock is complicated.

The woman struggles as best she can, and the man merely chuckles.
"Don't be like that now honey, I just want to strip your flesh from your bones!"

With everything seeming lost, suddenly the doors swing open heavily, smashing into the walls beside it.
And in comes 2 dirty-looking men, lead by one equally dirty woman. They all carry pistols, and they are all wearing some blue cloth tied around their left arms.

They waste no time putting lead into the butcher, leaving him to fall lifelessly to the ground.
The woman that was almost killed, runs screaming out of the room, past the armed people.

It doesn't seem like they've noticed you.

Graham:
You put too little faith in old-world technology, as both the elevator and computer function. If just a little choppy.
And the elevator has over 100 floors, so which button should you push?
I regret nothing.

"Ooooh you're quite handsome mister. Do you need some help?" Sammy said with glee as she gave the stranger a hug.

Sammy:
The stranger is suprised at your sudden contact, seemingly unsure about what to do.
"Eh... Well, yeah I could use some help... If you aren't gonna kill me..."
I regret nothing.

Griffin:
The woman notice you, and walks over. She shoots the padlock, and it falls down on the ground, leaving the cage open.
"There, you're free!"
I regret nothing.

"This one did not come here to parlay. This one did not come here to make the deal you are about to offer. He came to make his own." Greer rasps, lowering into a more threatening position and holding his blade at the ready. "And that deal is you deciding how quickly you wish to die." With that, Greer waits for them to take an action, hoping to beat back an attack and counter with his own right off the bat.

Greer:
The bandits stay silent for a moment, look at eachother, then shake their heads.
"A shame then..." the leader summarize.

He then swiftly pulls the locker down, blocking of the other path of the room, then he and his friends dash through the door behind them, leading to a stairwell leading up.
I regret nothing.

Hmph. No appreciation for showmanship, eh? Greer wastes no time pursuing them, shaking his head and scaling the locker if it's in his way.

Crime really has decreased in quality these days.

Thank you, may whoever is up there be with you. If any of you need help sometime, find me. I'm Griffin.  he says with relief, and starts looking for his items.

Sammy & Lucy:
The stranger lowers his gun.
"Well, if you'd like to help... You see, I've been trying to get this factory into a functional state, but since the basement generator is offline, I can't really do much, and it's guarded by a bunch of robots."
He points at the left-most door.
"If you could go down there and turn it back on, it would be great. And I'll let you keep whatever you find down there."
The maintenace-bots idly work in the background, ignoring the conversation.
"By the way, I'm Gerald."

Griffin:
The woman smiles.
"Thanks for the offer, Griffin, but the lawbringers don't need much help. It's a constant fight against injustice, but we manage."

You fail to find your gear in the butchery, maybe it's outside.

"We are always looking for more recruits though..."

Greer:
You hurl the locker out of the way, and give chase to the bandits.

Soon the pursuit ends on the roof of the hall.

Cornered, with no way down except through the staircase, the bandits ready their weapons to fight.

"FUCK... FUCK... FUUUUCK!"
I regret nothing.

Greer's eyes stare like miniature grey suns from beneath the coverings on his face, and he wastes little time in getting things started. Dashing forward, he makes a go for the nearest bandit's leg, hoping to get a good slice and immobilize him, hopefully catching an artery if he's lucky. Should the hit land or not, he quickly hops back to his earlier position near the door, still aiming to stay out of reach of the group as a whole.

Graham pushes the 65th button, if they're not on that floor he'll work down until he hits the lobby again.
I am no longer legitimately considering leaving this forum

"Mkay, let me try something." Sammy said as she approached the maintenance robot. She wraps an arm around the robot and lifts her leg on it seductively and coos, "Need an oil change you well put together robot."
