Chalk grits his teeth as the wolf-man ducks back inside the RV, not accepting the outstretched hand. Hm. Not one for pleasantries.......maybe it was Chalk's appearance. He was used to that. Nodding as Seb speaks, he hops into the vehicle after him, his heavy form audibly thudding on the floor. Right.....yes. Quaint form of transportation you've got here." He remarks off-handedly, glancing around the RV.

Seb took his seat at the table again, looking over his equipment on the nearby weapon crate to make sure everything was accounted for.  "It's what was available."  He began to gear up, placing all of the items upon his person.  The allure of what fun toys the armorer had cooked up called to him as his ran his paws along the top edge, but didn't open it, remembering the warning.  The wolf's arm swept across the interior of the cabin, gesturing at the weapons strewn about.  "Want anything?  There's plenty."

Main Group: The Crazies

In the distance, a roar of a guitar (
Code: [Select]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RS3oL53om4). As you cross over the incline of the hill, you see in the distance a vast burned field of what used to be wheat and corn, now all charred and glowing with the hot embers of ash. Coming towards you slowly, kicking up a titanic dust storm behind its wheels, a huge metal fortress built upon an uncountable number of 18-wheelers. Its jagged edges covered in blood, guts, and 'war paint', cat walks, ladders, and stairways all carelessly placed around the fort. You can see people running, jumping, and taking their positions all over the rolling fortress. And at the very top of the fortress, on a platform illuminated coils with electrical currents running in between them, in the center of the platform, a lone guitarist with a wall of speakers behind him; playing his fingers off as the fortress approaches.

To the sides of the rolling fort, what looks like hundreds of salvaged buggies and muscle cars, all covered in viscera with heads mounted on car antennas.

Your CO crackles over the CB, "Seb, I need you and your team leading the main assault on that damned moving fortress. Try to breach your way in, kill everyone in there, free anyone you can, and make sure you take out that fucking guitarist!"

The RV:

Health: [135/135]
Armor: [65/65]

Weapons

1. Grappling hook, mounted on left of the RV's roof. (You can latch onto vehicles and tear their armor off, or you can latch onto a vehicle to board it.)

2. Browning Machine Gun, mounted right outside the RV's roof access.

3. Browning Machine Gun, mounted outside of the driver's window

4. Harpoon Gun, mounted on the passenger window.

5. Minigun, not setup.

Irving says "I need a telescope or something similar and a rifle. I'll get a rifle." Irving heads to where the group stores the rifles, he chooses the one of the AK's he doesn't care which. He sets it to single fire and checks the chamber. He goes to the rv's roof hatch and starts to scan for the guitarist.

Drake runs to the harpoon gun, setting his PKM to the side and gets ready to tear off armor of anyone who gets close enough and board that goddamn fortress.

Seb looked upon the mobile bastion from the RV's window with both awe at the ingenuity required for such a behemoth and horror at the destruction it wrought.  Regardless of their motives, that madness couldn't be allowed to continue.  He swung Zaweri's XM8 from beneath the seat and dropped it on the table with a thud as the CO's orders crackled through the radio.  "Spearhead, huh," he said in grim acknowledgement of the task set before them.  "Man a gun.  Any of them.  Gonna see what the armorers cooked up here."  Seb's claws worked their way into the gaps of the weapon crate's lid, opening it.

[[For the sake of time, you're still in the RV. Because you getting out would entail the RV to stop, unless you tuck n' roll out of a moving RV. Basically everyone sees the hell fortress, you're still in the RV. During this battle you're free to do whatever. It seems like most of the players just want quests and shit to do, so forcefully kicking your asses into a large vehicle battle with a Metal Gear Solid: Outer Haven rusty fortress complex might be cool.]]

Seb cracks open the crate to find a mounted flamethrower with several bottles of orange liquid, brown liquid, and a bottle filled with reddish-orange jelly. The flamethrower has three slots for these bottles on the left side of the gun. Taped to the barrel of the flamethrower are some directions and a brief description of what it is.

"Thermite-Napalm Thrower"

1. Insert the bottles by screwing them into their slots, make sure the nozzle end points down to the contents can drain into the flamethrower as its fired.

2. There's a lever on the handle of the gun, pump it three times to heat up the element at the end of the barrel

3. KEEP POINTED OUT A WINDOW, MAKE SURE ITS MOUNTED!

4. It fires a gel substance that burns brightly and is covered in really, really hot flames. Make sure to wear protective eye wear, do not touch the barrel until it is fully cooled.

5. WARNING!!! If you start to smell something akin to burning rust, TOSS THE GUN FAR AWAY FROM YOU! You'll thank me later for this.

Irving wasn't paying attention to his surroundings much when the GM said that the guitarist was on a platform high atop the fortress, playing his guitar as electrical currents arced and curled around him.

Zaweri begins to floor it, driving ahead of the pack and straight into the first wave of raiders. The fortress is getting bigger the more you approach it, you're starting to wonder if you'll even be able to board it.

Broke Caravan

"Really now? I haven't heard much weird stuff outta the desert recently, so why don't you tell us something you've seen down there. Pass the time a little bit.", Josh said to Isaac, hoping for something truly delightful (MAKE YOUR OWN LORE! Or read the lore thread update, and see what you can come up with using that). Mordecai listened intently to the conversation as Missy continued her conversation with Jove. "Really fancy though, haven't ever seen anything like that out west. So do you have any stories? Clearly someone like you has got to have one good story, made up or not."

Chalk's good eye widens as he catches sight of the cars approaching, along with the veritable mobile fortress this team is apparently tasked with destroying. Stifling a gasp, he nods to Seb, rushing back to the window he entered in, hopping up, and manning the machine gun on the roof access. Looking down the sights in a probably-futile attempt to aim, he tries to squeeze off a few bursts at the gunner/spear-er(?) of one of the approaching buggies.

Jove smiled and shrugged. "Yeah, I've got a few stories. One time I beat up a bunch of thugs in a bar. With only my fists, too!" Jove raised up his hands again and gave a nervous little chuckle. "Then there was this time I saved a family from a burning barn. Or the time I had showdown with mutants from the west. Or... my old group." With each synopsis he gave, his town lowered a bit and his perky attitude sank every slightly and hit rock bottom with his last sentence.

Isaac looked out the window and said "Not much interesting like I said. Mostly ruined buildings, dead bodies. Saw some bodies of what looked like tribals. Really like I said, nothing interesting. Well there was one time I was out a long ways from here when I found three frozen bodies. Looked like they were trying to kill each other when they froze. Was kind of...surreal I guess is the word." He then looked at Joshua "What about you guys? Any interesting stories?"

Aiming the harpoon gun at the muscle car, Drake tries to use the harpoon to rip its armor off to keep their flank form being successful.

Irving flips the fire-rate to full auto and starts firing at buggy number two. After around ten shots he ditches the rifle into the cabin of the rv and grabs the grappling hook. He attempts to latch to buggy numbah two.
