Utterly Mad

Having killed lots of boars once opon a time, I can just about guarantee you a spear is more humane in pretty much every way than most guns they are shot with. A spear's actually a pretty great weapon for animals or anything else too stupid to go around it.

Also, the Hawaiians still use baiting, dropping from trees, and knives in their hunts. Admittedly, their pigs are a bit smaller than the Russian boars we have here, but they can still fuck you up if you land on them wrong. Unfortunately I can't find my pictures of what that looks like.
