A possible solution for anyone with slow ass WiFi and large game downloads. Mother. Fucking. Powerline Adaptors.

Lets you plug your routers ethernet cable into a wall socket and run a wired Internet connection through your houses power wires, directly into your computer. Even if you're lucky to have fast WiFi it'll never be as fast as an actual wired connection. They come in various different kinds, with power passthrough so you're not losing a wall socket, and a few of them even act as WiFi hotspots.

I don't know why everyone doesn't own these things.

This solves a negative number of problems. My net at home is glorious soviet satellite net. Meanwhile I checked my laptop, it has...55.8 GB memory TOTAL. :V

Also, I had no idea IVAN was still being worked on, the latest update being a month ago. It looks like a group of modders have decided to pull what the guys over at cataclysm did for that game except without the salt and the spiteful whale.

Eh, but I dunno if it's more moddable now than the last non-github version I found was.

So, I have a solution. I have a 64 motherfucking GB flash drive. Reminder: this is more space than my laptop has.

How do you only have 56 gigs? Is your laptop some ancient piece of junk (i'm thinking about 2000 level of ancient). Even then it should probably have a bit more than 56 in total.
