The reflection of the dim lights to the black, deep, and continually unnerving ocean sparked a deep interest and a deep fear. Looking into the water out of curiosity was an interesting experience. There was always the wonder of 'what's down there?', and as you thought that, there was always a good chance something unknown, undiscovered was looking right back at you.
Jolie walked down from the banister and into the bridge where she controlled the ship for some time before they passed rocky waters and into a safer stretch of sea. From there she perused the edges of the ship watching the water whisky by, and she'd drop in to see how everyone was holding up. Busy as always, and very good for business. Jolie stood proudly on the bow of the ship looking onward. The bright lights to her back, her shadow spread out onto the sea.
Her eyes picked up the unsettled water ahead. Bubbling water, followed by a few short wakes.
"We need a gunner!" Jolie yelled loudly over the sound of washing water and the cracking down on engines. "Engineers, pick it up we've got a new obstacle to get around! Where's that gunner!?" Jolie ran back to the bridge and right to the wheel. "First Mate, you're wanted!"
