Your party tools into the town of Groter late in the evening. This unlikely assortment of people were hired to transport a load of high value magical regents from this town to the capital city of the kingdom of Chernek, Drascur.
Groter is a quiet town. Large fields of gray wheat surround the village, and the houses and shops are quaint affairs, in the common Chernek style. A door is thrown open on the street as you enter the town, and a man is thrown out.
