Eh. Mine's a futon with a mattress on it. The futon thing was cheaper than a proper bed, but so awkward to sleep on (because Target can't design furniture worth shit) that it would've been better to start with getting a bed, after the cost of slapping a mattress on it.

I really do need to buy a new bed, but Jesus they're expensive. I mean I could get a cheap one but it'd likely be worse than what I've got now and I feel like beds are something you should spend a fair bit on, since a good bed is pretty important.
Though that reminds me I've also got to find a good office chair that isn't going to make me regret sitting down but every fucking decent looking chair that costs less than £1000 is apparently shit, unless I can find a cheap Steelcase Leap somewhere.
Why the fuck are good office chairs so fucking unreasonably expensive.

Yeah, good furniture can outlive you if it's not treated like shit, cheap furniture just seems to slowly fall apart no matter what.
Unfortunately I barely have money for cheap furniture at the moment and I've finally got to that age where buying furniture seems far less boring than it used to.
