7 days to die got an update. A good one. Good enough to take it off the trash list and put it back into the "yeah, this is alright *thumbs up*" list. There's still stuff I don't like, but the A15 update has so much in it that is so good, including an extensive laundry list of bug fixes and a massive overhaul to the world generation for the better. Also, NPC vendors and towns which are currently empty, but will apparently have more NPC's in them later. There's a framework in the works for NPC bandits and factions now. Game runs smoother now too. It still has the blatantly lifted Rust style gathering/crafting, the inability to crouch, and a few other baffling things.

the inability to crouch
It's a well known fact that many video game characters don't have knees, you can't expect someone to crouch without knees.
It also explains why many of them break their legs after a 3 foot drop.

So I bought Red Dead Redemption today since I've heard nothing but good(well the majority of what I've heard was good anyways) and found that when we moved the console around no one kept track of the fucking cords, and I wasn't involved in moving it in any way so it's not at all my fault. This has been exceedingly annoying and I'll probably end up finding them tomorrow.

Mod author for Mining Mod said they did a thing, grabbed it off their branch and updated on dropbox. Mainly looks like another mapgen file got added, apparently something so you get a hint that there's metal underneath. owo

That game caused my real computer to melt down twice. Two GTX980s later, I don't plan on giving it another go until they release it.
Gone. Cheers guys.

I can easily believe that.

What's hard to believe is edge of spaces user reviews on steam. It's a decent game all things told, I guess people don't like it being compared to terraria though.

I really rather liked it, and built some massive stuff before everything got fried the second time. Such as my floating base complete with tree farm and garden:

From two different points in construction. Then the update hit, and zombies could now attack the base and make it over my spiked lake lining, and then my computer fried the second time. So no more fun building for me.

Also, if you stood on the top of the tower, everything below you would despawn. So it wasn't very fun like that.

Now I'm reduced to playing buggy M&B mods and pixel games:

The key to beating oblivion easily is to take more or less useless skills you'll never need as major skills. That way you can max the shit out of everything while enemies stay low level.

Also, jumping over small buildings is lulz.
Gone. Cheers guys.

Thats... I never thought of that.

I think the multiplayer has issues? Either way though, yeah. That game shines in multiplayer.

Name a Bethesda game, and I'll tell you how to break it and totally wreck everything.

Anyone here play Silent Hunter III? I've always wanted to try MP there, and I'm not good enough to fight randoms.

Or XCOM. None of my IRL friends will XCOM with me anymore because they're old and suck.

Or, you install III, and remove the levelling entirely.

I'll say morrowind. A rule though, it's gotta be something that isn't common knowledge.
